Stays inflated
Stays inflated. So nice that I got to use it just once before my 45 year old son borrowed it. Only drawback I could think of was - after deflating the mattress, I flunked getting it to fit back into the provided bag.

Perfect
This thing works well easy to use and put back in the bag and is light

Perfect, as offered, So says 60 yrs in scouts, military, Ghana, Guatemala, to list a couple creds
Like the 30/32? inch width at head/Shoulder, then lightly tapers to the feet slightly, so feet are not cramped. The "ribbed" "V" form chamber structure is very comfortable, tough. Little bit of work to inflate , not bad, deflate very easy. I am no 150 lb. featherweight anymore, more like 183 lb. and I did NOT bottom out sleeping in my cold weather tent up in Rhinelander WI, at 15-20 degree weather, no cold creep at all, no sore hips. KLYMIT STATIC V LUXE SL, Sleeping Pad is tough, SLOWLY work the air out rolling from foot end and keep stow sack handy and it packs away NO LARGER than it ships. It is about 1/3 larger than a few other units in market, but it is worth it if you don't like waking up sore from bottoming out. For the record, I also purchased and tested the WELLAX Ultralight Air Sleeping Pad, seemed well put together, tough, easy to inflate, deflate, but I bottomed out on it, not severely, but it just was not gonna make the grade. Probably great for some younger campers or families with kids. Thank you KLYMIT!. 02birdog out.

Klymit lacks integrity
Well, it's comfortable but two out of two pads leaked. I can patch but I shouldn't have to patch a new pad. The first pad leaked a lot and I was able to get a replacement right away. The second pad leaked so slowly that at home I couldn't tell it but the first night on my backpacking trip I found by morning that it had leaked enough to cause my hips to bottom out. I had no way to find a leak on the trail so I endured two weeks of this. Of course I'm out of the return window now. ???? I guess I'll put it in the bathtub and see what I find. 4/6/20 Found that it is leaking from the deflate valve. Even snapped shut as tightly as possible, it starts leaking again once I lay down on it. Contacted Klymit, awaiting response. Leaks aside, this a comfortable pad. Plenty of room to shift around without falling off. It's a bit long for me but still fits in my tent. You'll die trying to blow this up so get or make a pump sack. 5/15/20 Klymit will look at and determine whether under warranty but I have to foot the bill for shipping and they won't reimburse that under any circumstance. I guess they feel it is appropriate to sell flawed pads and not stand behind their product 100 percent. The valve is leaking. This is their fault, not mine. I shouldn't have to pay for shipping due to their design flaw. KLYMIT LACKS INTEGRITY! 8/1/20 I started researching the internet for other Klymit owners with the same problem and found there were many. I ran across a fellow who used an o-ring on the valve cap to stop his leak. I tried that and it worked! It fills the gap where the air was leaking. Thankful to be able to use this pad now, still say Klymit should stand behind their products and will leave the rating where it is.

So Comfortable
I've only taken it on a couple of outings, but I already love this sleeping pad. It's lightweight, easily packable, and incredibly comfortable. The added thickness and width definitely take more breathe to inflate than my vintage Therm-a-rest, but it's absolutely worth it for the comfort difference. The separate one-way, inflate and deflate valves are a stroke of genius, and make it easy to take your time while inflating it. The only criticisms I have are that it's noisy when you move with a nylon denier sleeping bag, and that can be a bit of a challenge to fold and roll it to exactly fit back in the included stuff sack. Those minor things aside, this was a huge improvement to my backpacking and camping setup and I look forward to many comfortable nights of sleep on the trail.

Nice Camp Matress
I used this for mostly sleeping in thr back of my suv on road trips. It is insanely easy to inflate. I told all of my friends it only took 20 breaths and they didnt believe me. So needless to say, they all stood around me counting my breaths as I inflated it lol. They were all impressed to say the least. Its pretty comfy and treats my bad back well.

Great for Side Sleepers
Puchased for a 10 day deep jungle expedition. I weigh 220lb, sleep on my side and have a bad hip. The V Luxe was great and provided super support and comfort. No bottoming out. A little difficult to deflate fully.

Deflates slowly
I bought this two years ago to use as a sleeping pad in my hammock, it worked great the first three times Of use. The pad held in air great for 24hours before showing signs of deflation. I’ve used it a total of 13 times and it deflates slowly over a 4-5 hour period while laying on it (I am 130lbs) . It’s now useless to me and it’s still new and hardly used. It’s annoying for me to wake up from my sleep to inflate it again to be comfortable. For such an expensive product and high ratings I am completely disappointed and would be trying another brand in my next purchase. My guess is it’s poorly made / designed inflation and deflation valves.

Good value
Not the warmest or the lightest. But fairly comfortable for a good price. Rugged forsure. Reccomend it. There is better out there but this is decent value. Best model from klymit
