Stress Punching Bag
So I got this for one reason...anger. Man this Corona virus has got me feeling depressed and sometimes angry. I now can punch the crap out of something to release some built up stress. Arrived pre filled so I I had to do is mount it. I also realized another thing really quickly. So first of all I am 43 year old dude. In my mind, I’m still in my early 30’s and think I can still kick some major butt. Once I started to work this punching bag, I quickly got winded and my left wrist started to hurt. I took boxing and lots of Jiu Jitsu when I was younger and still thought I had it in me. Boy, I was wrong! I’d be in a world of hurt if I got into a fight if it goes longer than 20 seconds. That’s a problem... not that I’m looking for fights, but I want to know if someone went down, I will be able to protect myself and family. My wife has also gotten into punching. Great value and makes workout fun again.

Not durable. Can’t take a hit
The zipper at the top of the bag broke within 30 mins of using it and all the stuffing came out. Description says it’s for adults but I think it’s supposed to be for children

Good intro 70 pound heavy bag
The media could not be loaded. This Ringside 70 pound heavy bag kit is a great starter kit for young or smaller hitters. If you are larger, or hit hard, I prefer at least a 100 pound bag. Your level of training, size, strength and place to hang the bag will all influence your decision. For a starter kit, at the 70 pound size, this set by Ringside is a decent choice for a heavy bag. I wanted an extra bag for my garage so I can workout some with my daughter. This 70 pound bag is just right for what I needed. I can hit the 100 pound bag and she can hit the 70 pound one. I'll let her try the gloves that came with this bag, but I have other pairs that I like better for myself, and I'll let her decide what she likes as well. Many things I'll be teaching her are with an open hand where she won't need the gloves. Inside the box you get: 70 pound vinyl heavy bag stuffed with a custom filling of natural and synthetic fibers. (This is what the paper that comes with it says, and I'm not sure just what those natural and synthetic fibers are.) Swivel and mounting clip. One pair of beginner's boxing gloves. One pair of hand wraps. As I stated above, I don't really care for the gloves that much, but to start out they are okay, and then you can find a pair you will like better. If you are new to heavy bag training and are going to punch, the wrist wraps are recommended so you don't hurt your wrists. Over all, I think this Ringside 70 pound heavy bag kit is a good starter heavy bag to get people into punching and working out on a bag. Great Starter Package
This is a great starter package. I had a 100lb bag prior to this that withstood several years (and 3 different jobs) of abuse, so I was a bit skeptical when I saw this 70lb bag with such a high rating. The bag itself seems to be fairly well built, and with quality materials. I don't foresee any tears in the seams or stress points. It was fairly easy to hang from the punching bag stand that we already have. I do think the hooks on this bag will last longer than the previous ones, so I'm already impressed with this bag. The gloves and wrapping are more for a beginner boxer. If I really lay into the bag the gloves don't offer enough support and I have to switch back to my other gloves. They are a bit small as well, so take that into account when purchasing this as well. That being said, they do seem to be high-quality material and would be great for anyone getting started in boxing.

A very well made bag but make sure it is properly supported when mounted
A very good quality bag with begging gloves which will not work well for larger hands. That said the only real negative is that the mounting system is really not designed for a heavy bag and needs either a stand or a metal bracket to spread the weight and stress over multiple studs or beams. If it came down while in use ar 70 pounds it can do some damage especially a small or younger user. I was impressed at how well this bag was made and the length means it will work for various punches, elbows and knees and even kicks.

Great bag!
This heavy bag comes with everything you need to get started working out. It is long enough so people of varying heights should have no problem with this bag. All you need to do is mount it. For the mount, I initially mounted it in my basement onto a eyebolt hook in a beam, but that didn't hold up quite well as I was using it. To reinforce it, I got a 2x6 and cut it so it fit across 3 of the beams and screwed it in. Then I used the eyebolt hook and screwed that into the 2x6 and the beam and it is holding up quite well now. The bag comes pre-filled and includes a pair of gloves and wraps. The gloves and wraps are probably suitable for most average users, but if you have larger hands or plan to really hit the bag hard you might want to get different pair that is a little bit heavier and offers more protection. The wraps are decent but for larger hands, you might want to get longer pair such as 180" which are only about $6. The longer length should help protect your hand better. I didn't take any stars away as these are more of bonus items and are certainly suitable for most users. The main item (heavy bag) itself is excellent and 5 star worthy. The bag itself has held up quite well to the abuse I put it through. I use it about 3 times per week and throw punches, kicks, knees, elbows etc... and it and it has shown no signs of wear and tear. There are no rips and the filling has all stayed in place. Overall this bag is very well constructed and is great exercise. I would definitely recommend!

Bought an eye bolt from the local hardware store to hang it from a beam in my basement which ended up putting it at the perfect height for me
Shipping was fast and I got a workout carrying it from the post office to my car. Win-win. Still holding up to abuse after a year.
