Just what I was looking for.
Just remodeled my shower. Went with a vintage look. All my shower fixtures are oil rubbed bronze with porcelain cross handles. The soap dish put the finishing touch on my shower. The only issues, like other said, is that the porcelain dish is not permanently attached to the wall mount. It is a pressed fit ball socket type of mount. It sits on there pretty secure and won't fall off under normal use of taking the soap on and off but if you hit it with your arm or elbow you can knock it off. Being porcelain it will break when it hits the floor. What I did to prevent this was to remove the plastic socket from the bottom of the dish and apply white Kerdie Fix adhesive sealant inside the hole. Then I pressed the plastic socket back intio the bottom of the soap dish making sure to wipe off all the excess adhesive. I then applied Kerdie Fix inside the socket and pressed it onto the mount . Kerdie Fix is very tacky so be careful when applying it or you will get it everywhere.

I bought two of these to match the antique bronze fixtures in our two bathrooms. They work fine except that the plastic piece that joins the ceramic dish to the metal holder comes loose way too easily. The dish came off, fell on the floor, and broke. After that happened to the first one we tried to be more careful but then a guest knocked the second one off. I have bought two new ones, the same dish because we like how it looks, but this time I have added a strong glue to hold the dish to the plastic piece and the plastic piece to the metal holder on each one. And I'll check the bond frequently!

The first one arrived broken, so with Amazon's super service I generated a return label, shipped it back for exchange and received the second quickly.Always very satisfied with Amazon's painless replacement or refund of a defective item. Like the other reviewer, I will put a little silicone to hold it more securely. Great soap dish, I'm very pleased.

Nice product after...
This is a quality product however i put a little silicone to hold the soap dish part on the bracket. It was a little loose for my liking

This product is defective. It is milled so that the dish can't fit on the bracket once the bracket is iinstalled. The matching toothbrush holder is the same. This is not just my amateur incompetence. I had a professional working on my bathroom who tried to install it.

Lovely but bad design
I have been struggling with this soap dish for two years and will have to replace it with a better design. The arm that holds the soap dish comes loose from the wall mount and eventually completely disengages and dumps the soap dish on the ground. I’ve tightened it for the last time. It’s pretty, but only IT stays upright for about two weeks. DON’T BUY THIS DISH.
