Quality piece

After over 15 years, the drinking spout failed. This most resembles the one we had so ordered. Quality seems good and the finish was a perfect match to the old one and the faucet. The problem was trying to get the old one out. It was in the back left corner outside of a deep farm style sink. There was not enough room in the confines of the cabinet and location to get the old one out with the tools I had. Ended up paying a plumber to do the work and he struggled for 2 hours, eventually getting enough space to cut the old one and remove. New one went in relatively easy. Plumber speculates this was installed prior to the sink going in. I bought a new soap dispenser to match this one as the old one was dingy after the same 15 years.

Perfect faucet for RO

I bought this faucet to replace an old RO faucet that was leaking. I did not install it, a plumber did, so I don't know how easy or hard the installation was. But the faucet looks good and works great! Very nice quality. I would highly recommend.

Well Built

Bought this spigot to replace the one that failed me and cost $32K worth of water damage in my kitchen and garage. This replacement one is very well constructed of heavy brass and chrome and has a sturdy feel to it. I expect to get many years of use out of it. Highly recommend it if you have a kitchen island that has a bar sink and/or a water filtration or RO purification system below the countertop to purify your drinking water before it’s dispensed.

Didn't last one year

We bought this in May 2021 and it broke today. The spout simply broke off. Our prior faucet lasted longer.

Pricy, solid, but sealing issue at countertop; mounting needs to be done correctly to seal

These are quite well made. Excellent finish and rigidity. Solid brass w heavy chrome on this one. A bit of a perplexing design of the seal at the countertop though. A flange with a o-ring on it comes with the faucet. The flange with an o-ring is SUPPOSED to seal at the counter surface, but the flange does not seal to the faucet; metal to metal. Another, smaller, o-ring is recessed in the faucet and the flange is too big to engage it. in effect, the faucet has to be mounted WITHOUT the included flange to make a water tight seal at the countertop, so the o-ring on the faucet will seals to the countertop. Other option is to just fill the hole under the faucet with goo; plumbers putty, but that defeats the elegant use of the o-ring! A bit more thought needed on that by mfgr! In short, discard the dress-up flange and mount without it, or smear on a wad of plumber's putty between the faucet and countertop.

best water filter faucet on the market for the price

Water filter faucets are a strange market - it is largely divided into 2 categories - 1) the sub $100 no name brands and those that comes with the water filter. In summary they all pretty much very low quality and goes bad in a few years with leaks, rust, and questionable materials - you name it. 2) the $400+ name brand ones from kohler moen etc.. that's good quality similar to the kitchen faucets...but who wants to pay this much for a little water filter faucet. In comes kingston brass - a well known brand for brass, and their water filter faucet is not exception - very well built, high quality and at a fraction of the cost - almost too good to be true. Trust me if you want to buy a water filter faucet, this is the best you can do, unless you want to waste 10x more for a name brand. I have looked everywhere, there is no other option. Dont even bother trying to get the filter faucet that comes with those expensive water filters, they all oem junk. Thank you kingston brass for making this product and fill a gap in this market. My only complain is the instruction manual could use more detail instead of a simple black white photo, i had to watch a youtube video to figure out how to install it - the installation itself is easy once you understand it.

Only polished nickel to be found but, A+

A much higher-end look than the bright chrome that came with our RO system. Matches the new Kohler polished nickel faucets we installed with the kitchen reno. The base beauty ring is not very large in diameter so coordinate the size bit accordingly with your countertop installers. the hole should be smaller than the main faucet for sure.

Long lasting, easily repairable

A very good quality faucet. I initially purchased this faucet 7 years ago from a different website. However, it started leaking about 6 months ago. The valve continues to work well without leaks. However, after turning the faucet off, the remain water in the spout would leak from where the spot attached to the valve. O-rings are a wear time, but the manufacturer doesn't list the o-ring size. I did my best to match o-rings and replaced them, but that didn't help. I tried using some teflon tape, but the tip of the spout broke while inserting it. (Probably too much tape and force.) I was very pleased to see that Amazon carried this faucet at a fair price. The faucet arrive after only 1 day! (Thanks, Amazon!) I screwed on the new spout and kept the valve as a spare part. Works great! Easy repair, without having to replace the entire faucet. (It's not very expensive as kitchen faucets go, so I might just buy another as a spare. Maybe, I'll have better luck matching the oring next time.) There were some water stains as a result of the leaking. Wrapping a paper towel soaked in lemon juice got rid of those stains pretty easily. A seven year old faucet now looks and works like new!

Perfect addition to our Island!

The water line on our fridge was not fixable so we decided to install a tap on the counter for our filter system. This tap was a perfect match for our current taps and easy to install. My biggest concern was drilling a new hole in the granite. Now that it is all done I would never go back to a fridge water line.
