Love the design
I've remodeled the bathroom in my house and was adding the accessories to it. The bathroom is more of an aquatic theme and I do love turtles. However, when I received the product, there was a chip in the paint and the cast iron was showing through. That was a bit disappointing but since I was having a party, I chose to keep it so I could use it in the bathroom at the party. Wished I had sent it back for a new one that wasn't chipped. It seems to be pretty sturdy, except for the chip in the paint, it's heavy enough, there is NO little dish beneath the turtle to catch the water and soap that accumulate after someone has used the soap and replaced it back into the dish. The color is nice, exactly what I needed. I would probably buy this again if there wasn't a chip on the side and I would have LOVED it if there was a catch container beneath so the soap and water had a place to go after putting the soap into the holder after use. Not 100% pleased with this item, but it does have a cute design.

Absolutely adorable, but came in damaged twice
This is such an adorable little piece, the color is gorgeous, and it is ceramic, which is great. Unfortunately, it came in with a little chip because it was packaged badly. I requested a replacement and was very specific that it was because it was mailed in only a bubble mailer. But the replacement came in exactly the same packaging and was also chipped (in a different place). I'm keeping it anyway and have it turned so the chip is less noticeable. It does allow the soap to drip, it is slotted nicely and it does look really cute.

Good value and cute!
The item is what was described. I just don’t like all the wet lather leaking through the turtle after you wash your hands. Very messy. But it is cute and sturdy and worth the money. Just not my favorite soap dish because of the mess under the turtle.

High quality love it.
Beautiful enamelled cast iron turtle, it is perfect! My only regret is that I didn't order 2 more... I ordered some cheap plastic ones that are still in the mail but I have a feeling I am going to be throwing those out and order info 2 more of these!

Lovely soap dish
This is great quality and heavy for it's size...also a beautiful colour. My large, handmade bar soaps fit perfectly. I would purchase this again for a second bathroom or for gifts as I am VERY pleased with this item and well worth the dollars.
