Exactly what I needed
I have 2 German Shedders who blow their coats constantly in Texas. It’s impossible to keep up with their shedding and their groomer advises against the well-known brand because it actually cuts the hair. This, however, is fantastic. I can brush them 2-3 times per week and keep the hair puppies floating around my home to a minimum. This also means I’m not vacuuming or sweeping as often. I would warn users to be prepared for the amount of hair you’ll be disposing of each brushing. I’m fortunate to live in the country so I can brush my girls outside and let the hair puppies float away. If you don’t have the same luxury then you’ll need to have small trash bag handy.

Best brush for a double coated dog!
This product was super cheap so I was worried it would suck but it has worked great so far for our husky!

Amazing comb
Works so good compared to others I've tried. The undercoat just flies right off without any effort really.

Effective
Very effective. This tool is my first step when "deshedding" my dog. (I start with this rake, then a Zoom Groom, followed by a Furminator, and finished off with a wire slicker brush) My only gripe is that, because this brush is plastic, it creates a ton of static and the open hole of the brush causes all of those static charged furry pieces to fly out and cling to my hand. It used to make it a pain when grooming indoors (I only groom outside in fair weather) but I recently started using a vacuum while grooming and that helps tame the loose dog fur. The fluffy bits are more likely to drift towards the suction than my own hands. (I leave the nozzle near my dog's feet) Considering the price, I would definitely buy again. It gets a lot of undercoat out very easily, requiring very little arm or grip strength. If I wasn't such a stickler, I'd probably only use this brush for maintenance every week. But my obsessive side chooses to use every brush we own "just to be sure". It's a lot easier to use than the Furminator and doesn't damage the top coat.

Works Well. Do not drop though.
I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Her name is Foxy. This breed sheds A LOT. This rake works well regarding controlling shedding. It is important to follow the directions to avoid irritating dog's skin. Handling the rake is comfortable for the owner. This is important for owners with breeds that have a lot of hair. The hair that is removed during brushing easily comes off the rake. The best feature of this rake is how well it removes excess hair from the undercoat. This is important for breeds who have multi-layered coats. Foxy has a 2 layered coat. Great for her because she is NEVER cold. Bad for me because of the shedding. In order to get the best results, brush your dog at least once daily. This rake is made strong enough to handle daily brushing(s). This rake is not made strong enough to handle being dropped. I dropped mine one time and one of the spikes became loose. I fixed it by resetting spike using pliers but I'm not sure how long it will hold. The biggest competition for this brush, is most likely the FURminator. What drew me away from the FURminator is a lot of reviews stating their dogs hair was cut or ripped off leaving almost bald spots. I love animals and would not post something regarding animals without being sure. Because of the amount of hair that this rake removes, I recommend using it outdoors and away from clothing.

Corgi Lovers Will Love It!
Background: I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. If you have or had one at any point you know its basically like living inside a wig factory or having someone dump the clippings from a day at the salon into your home in random places. Pros: - Wow, this gets a TON of the undercoat hair out - Most of the hair tends to stick together on the metal teeth/bristles/fangs(?) so you can easily just pull the clump off and toss it - The teeth do not hurt your dog, they look a bit sharp however they are not Cons: - The handle...it just feels weird and cheap. You can tell its more for decoration and the inside is just metal but its hard to grip sometimes - Not really a con against this particular rake but if you are coming here looking for an item that will solve the hair problem by itself, this is not the tool for you. Nor is there a tool out there that I'm aware of. You will need to use this rake in combination with another tool to take care of the top coat properly.

It works!
We have one dog whose coat is thick with another undercoat that is perpetually shedding. This brush works very well in getting to that undercoat. In no time, we have a huge ball of fluff combed out of her coat. That much less that my vacuum must try to tackle!

Fabulous
I have a husky that hates to be brushed, but he happy getting brushed with this as goes through his coat and under coat so easy. So much better than the furminator we were using one very happy boy

Better for my dog than any other undercoat rake.
My dog prefers this rake, he doesn’t play up with this. He goes nuts if he sees a furminator. This rake is brilliant at removing dense undercoat.

The best
Best brush for shedding dogs,, it helps to file the points because it then makes the fur adhere to the brush much better but still the best brush I have tried...

It’s okay not amazing.
It’s okay. My GSD doesn’t love it but puts up with it for a few minutes. Found it gets more undercoat than the Furminator and a basic undercoat rake.
