For the biat
Easy to hook up, and since it's not deep you don't need rear support.

Works great with OEM Speakers
First off, I have had this radio installed for about a year now in my 2002 VW Jetta. Installation was very easy and I have had no problems with it. However, my front speakers blew and I decided to replace them with some JBL ones. After I replaced them they sounded great but the radio gets extremely hot after the new speakers so I figure I should get a little bit of a nicer radio since it probably can't handle the power the new speakers are pulling. Anyway, it works great but if you have anything other than OEM speakers I would not recommend it, but if you just have an old car you slightly care about and want bluetooth then this is an amazing purchase.

So far, so good. It gets the job done.
At this price, I'm not going to whine. Much. This head unit is not for an audiophile. Start there. If you're super-picky about your sound, pick another unit. But, if you like decent sound, it works. MINUSES: --The mp3 playback reads the folders on your thumbdrive in what appears to be no discernable order. I think it might read them in the order they were written onto the drive, and not in alphabetical order. Only way I can figure that "The Doors" folder will come before "70's Heavy Hits." --Because you have to forward through folders as they play, rather than going through folders then clicking on them to start playing music, it takes a while to get through a large selection. That 128gig thumbdrive I bought to put TONS of music on? Useless. I have to stick to smaller ones with tighter music style selections. Yup, could used a holder for the thumb drives, to replace the holder for cd's. Sigh. --Buttons are small and not intuitive. Keep that instruction manual handy. You'll need it. --The bluetooth connection cuts off a lot of the first syllables or even words in sentences from the audiobooks I play through my phone. PLUSES: --That price. --Easy installation when you buy the harnesses. --Decent sound from such a tiny piece of tech. --Fully digital. Love having bluetooth capability and usb access, along with AM/FM.

Good radio
It’s great for the price it’s not a top of the line stereo and the price reflects that. It works great! And doesn’t look super cheap.

It plays music... but only lasted around 45k miles in my CMV.
It works, definitely better than the OEM stereo in my CMV, but only lasted around 45k miles/1 year. But for the price I paid, I just ordered a new one and had them swapped out in only a couple of minutes. Overall, yes... I will buy another if this one also goes out in a year or so.

Superb performance beyond its incredible price
The price is extremely attractive, and still this unit is remarkably well-designed. Clarity and volume are excellent even in a Gen2 (1999) Dodge Ram with ancient factory speakers. Bluetooth syncs immediately and automatically without fuss, and works perfectly so far. I keep a USB flash drive in the front USB port in case I want to play some good albums without touching my phone. Unlike other USB players I've used, this unit allows moving from file folder to folder with dedicated buttons, allows seeking through the position of a track, and displays the folder name and file name on the front display- all extremely nice features when you have hundreds of songs on a single drive. There is a mute button and the play/pause button works in both USB and bluetooth modes. There are no complex menus- front face buttons let you do practically everything including changing input modes with one touch, except adjusting sound levels and a few minor settings in a simple and effective menu. The knob has good steps in volume between notches- not too high that you can't get a good level, and not so low that you have to turn the knob a lot. FM and AM reception are excellent even with an aftermarket stubby whip antenna. The blue display is nonadjustable in color and brightness but I'm very happy with both as standard. Installation was done with soldering and shrink wrapping to an aftermarket harness- that was my choice; you can install different ways but the simple user manual told me everything about the wiring I needed to know. I would be extremely happy with this unit at twice the price or more, but as is, it has a rare mix of features, usability, good design, performance, and price. Unless you insist on some details like adjustable illumination color, prize high audio power without separate amplification, or are very picky with sound performance, you can't go wrong with this unit. Compared to using an FM transmitter (which is so close in price you may as well pony up for a head unit like this), you will likely consider this a substantial improvement over your factory radio. Some details from the box: power is 14W RMS/50W peak x 4 channels @ 4 ohms. Front USB port charges at 1A. There is a front 3.5mm headphone jack input and a stereo RCA preamp output on the back. Box says it plays MP3s (that is the only file format I tried) so I would guess if it also supported FLAC, AAC, etc it would say so. Happy hunting.

Good value, slightly lower speaker volume then seemingly advertised. Aka not 50w per speaker
Overall the head unit is great. It gets the job done is very compact as easy to install as any other head unit. Quality is damn near no diffirent then a $150 plus brand name head unit only minor downside is it doesn't appear to be 50w per channel from volume level. Further digging has to be done in orser to completely confirm this tho. So if you need a head unit and aren't trying to break the bank or have all these extra bells and whistles , this is the one your looking for!

It Works But Is Limited
At first I bought a discounted one from an Amazon Warehouse deal. Didn't work properly. Would not recommend. Returned it and bought a brand new one instead. It works but it has limitations. There is no brightness adjustment. In my vehicle, the radio is pretty low down, where the vehicle is a bit darker. So the brightness is adequate in the daytime. But at night it's super bright. Like...bright enough to affect your vision when driving on rural roads in the dark. There is no colour adjustment. It's blue illumination, no options. You get bass/treble/balance/fade adjustment. You also get a Loudness on/off adjustment. There are no preset or custom EQ settings, aka no Rock/Pop/Classical/Voice EQ settings. There is no remote. Now I know this is a $50 radio and I don't really care for car radio remotes. Just wanted to mention it. The entire unit shuts down when you turn it off. No illumination, nothing. But...not really. Even if it's off and looks dead, it'll still pair with your phone. So even if it's off, your phone still sends sound to it, via Bluetooth. This can be annoying. All in all, it's a decent, working, Bluetooth radio for $50. I'd recommend not to buy the Warehouse Deals versions. It's not worth the $5 savings. I wish there was a dial or adjustment for brightness. Would give it an add star if brightness could be adjusted.

this thing sucks
easy install and very small and light mechless design. Sound quality and adjustments are absolute garbage. Bluetooth connection was easy but doesn't display the songs. Ergonomics are terrible. the volume wheel is slippery with way too much resistance and requires 2 fingers to carefully turn it up to max when Nickelback comes on. Stereo isn't even loud, a conversation could be had at max volume with 4 good speakers. play and pause button are hard to use. overall, this thing sucks. might be good for a farm truck if you want to listen to an audiobook but that's it. furthermore, it stopped working after a few months. thought Jensen was a reputable audio manufacturer but not in this case.

Great sound
Replaced my old CD player with no Bluetooth option with this unit. Very easy to install. Sounds great with the separate bass and treble feature. I’m using it with a large amp so I can’t review what the sound is like with just the unit alone.

Great little radio
Installed in my Cab Tractor . Easy to install and Bluetooth connects quickly . Great power for a $50 radio . Great purchase.
