Works great at first
I've had this alarm clock for a week now. Radio worked great and was a clear crisp sound. Now it is scratchy on every station. I tuned into the same stations on another device- they work fine. The nature sounds are ok- the bird and water ones are recognizable. The campfire one is definitely NOT what most people would call a campfire. Closer to the bird one than campfire.

Great space saving alarm radio
So far I'm very happy I purchased the JENSEN JCR-210 AM/FM Digital Dual Alarm Clock Radio with Nature Sounds. I found the radio easy to do the initial set up. I haven't programmed any channels yet, but it may not be necessary. My favorite FM station is classical music and this radio sounds absolutely awesome listening to the local classical station.

It Does Alot - Almost Too Much
Generally speaking, I like the product. I bought it to see the time and listen to the radio in my kitchen. And, it does that. However, it does all kinds of other things that I have no need for. Once an alarm is mistakenly set, it's difficult to unset it. The manual is helpful, but going through it is a challenge. In order to stop the alarm, I needed to unplug the clock and set the time again. There is probably an easier way, but I couldn't find it and didn't have the patience to go through the steps involved. All in all, it's a good product. I like the green glow, the size of the numbers, the radio quality is acceptable, and the price is right.. There's just no need for all of the extras that I'll never use.

Sadly, not a fan
I was primarily interested in the nature sounds feature of this device, and I generally like the design aesthetic, so I really wanted to like it. However, I ran into several things that bothered me. For example, all of the buttons are basically on the back of the device, so you cannot see what they are unless you are standing over it, or you pick it up and flip it toward you. The buttons are not backlit which is not a huge deal in and of itself, but there is also no tactile difference between them, so you have to turn on a light to figure out which button you're pressing which is less than ideal. I also found the nature sounds a bit underwhelming. Of course I don't know for sure, but it seemed as though the same audio loop was just being played over and over again as opposed to generating the sounds mathematically or whatever. Finally, the clock spontaneously reset itself for no apparent reason. There was no power outage, and the backup batteries were installed, but as I was picking up my phone which was lying next to the clock, the clock began flashing 12:00. I have no way to know for sure what happend, but I'm guessing that there may have been some electrical interference generated by the phone that caused the clock to reset, and that was enough to sour me on the idea of using this device because if nothing else, an alarm clock MUST be reliable.

Just OK
Display aims more to the ceiling than straight across. Good if you have it on a table lower than the bed.

The Alarm needs bill gates to figure it out
The numbers can be seen from earth orbit ,too much even on low. the DUAL USE buttons and the Asian translated directions will make you hair fall out going between radio, alarm, beach sounds and actually setting the alarm ! Its a rubics cube of too many buttons that do not exactly work as advertised. If your under 30 maybe you can figure out all that crapola

works better as a clock than as a radio
on the plus side, the clock is easy to set and numbers are readable. You can adjust brightness on the numbers. You can have the nature noise on all night, and then have the alarm go off in the morning (either as an alarm or as radiio). On the minus side, the 4 nature sound settings all have a sort of white noise underneath the nature noise and the radio reception is pretty bad, with a lot of static that I have been unable to tune out.

Not impressed
Not a fan of this unit. Doesn’t dim enough at night (only two settings) Buttons are awkward and confusing to set alarms. And I don’t know if it has a short in it or is just sensitive to electronics around it , but it would power off and on out of the blue especially when my cell phone or tablet was near it With it intermittently going off and on I found that it couldn’t be trusted

Excellent Product
Bright large display, good nature sounds, no issues operating the device without reading the manual.
