Comfortable

Used this for camping and it was good. Had to add a little more air over the week I spent but otherwise quite comfy

Air pump cannot be turn off by closing the cover.

It comes with an air pump. But this pump cannot be turn off by closing the cover. Also the pump is not strong enough to put the mattress completely up (soft bed, not firm enough). I move to other state. I bought it when I wait for my furniture. So this low price air bed is good enough for short time use.

Not the easiest to use

First, it took forever to inflate. It was supposed to inflate rapidly, however it took 2 sets of batteries to get the job done. Problem with that is, when you open the cap to change batteries, the mattress starts to deflate, so you almost have to start over again when you finally get them in and shut the cover. Secondly, once it was inflated, it was NOT 10 inches high as the box said. Maybe it would be if it had worked as it was supposed to. One GOOD thing about it, when we wanted dismantle it, it deflated very well and actually fit back in the box it came in. I sent it back. Next time I will pay more and get a better quality one. I guess you get what you pay for.

Does not completely inflate.

The media could not be loaded. There are more cons than pros on this purchase. First off, the box was slightly damaged but I don't think it was enough to damage the bed. Second, the vacuum-seal bag that is supposed to cover the bed inside the box was Not sealed, which leads me to believe I received a used product- or at least an opened one (see video). The one good thing about the Dura-beam Standard is the pump. The pump is easy to install and use. Follow the enclosed instructions exactly as stated. The pump inflates the bed in less than 60 seconds. Now, back to the cons. The bed is supposed to be inflated in 2 steps- the battery operated pump, followed by a foot/ hand press in the top-off section. Except the top- off section doesn't inflate at all! (See pictures) I kept pressing, and tried various spots in this area, but NOTHING happened. This is probably why somebody else returned it. It's a pity that the seller decided to resell it instead of fixing it. It seems like it might be comfortable but I won't be keeping it long enough to find out. Now, I have to try to hunt for another bed for an outing I have in 4 days. Very upsetting.

A little confusing at first with the pump valve

Confused at first. You have to but batteries in the pump,put in the air. Make sure to close it after putting in air. It won't get firm until you remove the air valve and give heart pumps until firmness. My son hasn't given any complaints

I love the matress it's sturdy. I din't like the pum, the batteries run out fast. Luckily I pumped it with a dryer on cool air.

It Works

The battery inflation is incredibly easy and very fast. The bed itself is pretty comfy and a nice material. Deflating was also simple. The drawback is the pump has to stay in the mattress and when it is turned off, it slowly allows air to escape. Even with the cover on it does not hold its air very full. While comfortable as a whole, it made rolling over difficult as the low air pressure caused the sides to collapse. For the price and infrequent use it might work well, and the battery pump would be great for camping etc. Not a fail, but not a wow either.

Mas de lo que esperaba

Se infla demasiado fácil y rápido, la valvula de inflado manual es excelente pra regular que tan inflando lo quieres. Y se desinfla de volada, ya que el orificio para inflar/desinflar es enorme, entonces solo se quita la bomba y se desinfla de volada! Apenas llevo 2 semanas y lo uso 3 veces x semana. Nunca se ha bajado el aire durante su uso

Súper resistente!

Lo compré hace un par de meses porque tenía visita de mis sobrinas, pensé que no duraría mucho ya que un día las vi brincando sobre él, ¡pero aguantó y aguantó muy bien! Se usó todos los días por poco más de 2 meses y el colchón sigue intacto, muy recomendado!

lo peor de lo peor

este colchon es el peor que haya podido comprar, la bomba no funciona, el colchon nunca se termina de inflar, cuando logras que tengo algo de aire dentro todo se sale y es de lo mas incomodo que te puedas imaginar, que increible que se atrevan a enviar un producto de pesima calidad, DEFINITIVAMENTE NO LO COMPRES ! ! ! !

Slow to inflate

I found it took forever to inflate with the included battery pump included, so I got out my electric. I don’t really understand why the dual inflations. The one on the bottom is a pain. Also found the closure on the end pops open when moving sometimes and I’m not over the weight allowance (130 lbs)
