Better than not having one
The gauge is a little off, but it beats running out of gas during a BBQ

Great product
Found this for a great price on Amazon and works just as well as the more expensive ones at my local stores. I’m very satisfied I came across this!

Did not work and caused BBQ to not get full amount of propane to grill
So I connected it to my grill and it seemed to work. Gauge went to full and I used the grill as normal. A few months later I go to start the grill and it says empty. I lift the propane tank and it does feel low or empty. I turn it on and it has some propane left, but isn't getting very hot. SInce I am cooking hot dogs I just go with it and spend extra time cooking the dogs. I am disappointing, but figure I can at least use it to for some info about it being close to empty. One thing though, It seems like the tank didn't last as long as it has in the past, but I figure maybe I just used it more this year. I fill it up and try again. Fast forward a couple weeks and a couple BBQs and my the gauge says empty again. I think there is no way I used all the propane. I check and the tank is heavy enough that I know a lot is left. I start cooking and it seems I am not getting much heat like before. My chicken has been on the grill for a while, but just not getting enough heat. I figure it might be the gauge and I take it off and voila, it's like a new grill and heats up like it should. Not only did the gauge not keep an accurate measure of the amount left, but it also caused the grill to not work properly. I'm not sure if the gauge is clogged or what, but I'm just going to toss it now. Too bad it took me past my return windows to find out.

Simple Works Best
All the other gauges were too complicated to deliver consistent results. While it's best to 're-calibrate' the gauge (Open Tank Valve to verify volume on gauge) would buy this again as necessary. Only had one error and that may have been due to lack of the above verification. Worse Case if questioning gas volume-light grill for a few seconds when tank open then turn off and check again. In short, product is good & KISS Rule Works.

Excellent Gauge
No more guessing about how much fuel is left on the tank. We were about to change the tank guessing is was about empty. Then we installed the gauge which indicated it was near the top of the reading. Since installing the gauge we have done a lot of barbecuing snd the gauge still indicates lots of fuel left.

Waste of money
This is a total waste of money. Gage gave a different reading every time I opened the pressure on the tank. This last time it told me I was half full, and when I went to check on my dinner the bbq was off and the tank completely empty.

Shows gas or no gas . Doesn't show in-between levels .
Tried to use this on a 100 lb tank. I ended up having to buy an ( expensive ! ) connector to hook it up . May be O.K. on a BBQ , though . As mentioned elsewhere , reads 1/2 full at full , and doesn't show empty until right out .

Not Reliable
Never gave me the correct reading. Always said FULL, when it was empty.
