Exactly what I needed for my Buddy Heater.

There is no regulator on this hose. There is a regulator built into the heater. This hose is more rigid than generic hoses. This is by design. There is less risk of the oils impregnated into hose leaking into the gas supply and clogging the jets on the heater.

Good heater for emergencies.

This hose should be included in every purchase of the Mr. Heater Portable Buddy heater. In fact, one national chain big box store was selling the heater with this hose. The 16 oz. disposable propane tanks are expensive for the amount of fuel they contain, and they are wasteful--they wind up in a landfill. This hose allows you to use 20# refillable propane tanks, which have 20x the fuel, and are reusable, easy to exchange and inexpensive. This heater can be used indoors, and while the instructions on the hose tell you not to have the 20# cylinder indoors, in a power out emergency, it can keep you and/or your pipes from freezing.

Not compatible with Coleman stoves

I bought this thinking it was a higher quality than the Coleman brand adapter hose, and it does seem much nicer BUT unfortunately it is not compatible with my basic two burner stove. I tried the trick of loosening the female end of the stove connector but it's just not the right kind of attachment. My mistake! I just went to the hardware store to pick up the Coleman brand hose and it works right out of the box, but it does indeed look much cheaper than this one (the Mr. Heater hose is on the top in the photo for comparison) Alas! Can't have it all.

Mr Heater hose . Recommended for buddy heater.

After watching youtubers explain the importance of using a Mr heater hose for your buddy heater to lessen chance of oi and contaminants I thought it would be wise choice.

Great product!

Bought this to use with my Big Buddy in my ice fishing pop up shack. Works great, shorter hose means better function with the heater in the cold. Acme nut makes it easier to attach to 20lb tank.
