OEM replacement

Installed easily. Was a replacement for original that got broken when someone tried to use it as a step. The bracket is meant to allow flip up action if something in the water hits it while boat is driven. Not meant to flip down! Came with all the necessary mounting hardware and instructions. Zero problems with this product.

Screws fit in the original mounting holes

Using to replace one from my helix 5 which broke. Operator error forgot and drove it up onto my Dockblocks drive on dock. Bought a new from a dealer they forgot to install the mounting bracket which compounded the problem. This new one has two wedge type ledges on each side which is supposed to release if an object is hit saving the transducer. I had to file those wedges on each side almost flat in order for the pivot bracket to kick up. Without doing so they would definitely break. I have to lean over the transom once the bow of my boat is on the dock and using a large screwdriver pry the pivot and transducer up. Only time will tell if this will work for me.

It works as designed.

Have an older model of the Hummingbird fish finder and it was exactly like the one I broke, a little expensive but rather have this original as the way it broke and didn't damage the original installation.

Great to keep an extra around

We ended up in a pinch when one of the brackets broke the day before an out of state tournament. We ended up having to buy a whole unit to get the brackets and then I order this to replace the brackets and return the original unit. Fast forward a year later and a different piece broke, so we ordered again. We now have one on reserve in case anything happens again. We spend most of our time on a river and occasionally hit debris, which can do a number on these plastic brackets, so having a spare one can prevent not being able to use our electronic for days. On a side note, we have a Humminbird Helix 10 SI.

what a good deal

The lawn service guy ran into my boat and broke the bracket for the transducer. i thought i might have to buy a whole new transducer or even a whole fish finder but I searched and Amazon had exactly what i needed for a simple easy fix to put it all back to original. cool deal.

Works with Humminbird XTM 180 HDSI transducers

Bought this to use with my XTM HDSI, I got a good deal on the trolling motor transducer and this worked perfectly for adapt it to the transom. So happy! For some reason the price shot up from 23 to 45 after purchase. Weird I thought.
