Nothing beats the classics

I've used these handwarmers before, mostly when winder camping in the high desert. I decided to look for another solution, and bought a pair of rechargeable hand warmers. Tried several brands. Performance was a mixed bag, but generally they got plenty warm when kept in a pocket, but held in the open air they often struggled to keep up with the cold. When slipped into my glove, they would, at best, give off lukewarm heat. In other words, hand warmers that would keep you warm unless it was really cold out - what's the point? Next up - refillable lighter-fluid hand warmers. These were a bit more consistent than the electronic warmers, but the 6 hour version I purchased wasn't super warm either. Biggest downside is that once you start them there is no 100% safe way to deactivate them - you're supposed to let them exhaust their fuel. And where they are very low odor, if you have one of these in your shirt pocket you will get a faint scent of lighter fluid from time to time. Strike one against electronic warmers, strike two against fluid based warmers. Back to the classics for me. They put out decent heat, work well in my gloves, and I can share if I'm camping with a group. Long lasting, and even TSA approved they say.

These actually work

Got these for my elderly mothers freezing-cold hands. They must be shaken a certain way to activate. Mom can't do the shaking, so these can only be used by her when someone else can activate them for her. This being said, they actually get hot and help her cold hands. Since these work via chemical reaction induced by the shaking, I have noticed they cool down quickly if Mom has them held tightly between her hands. They need airflow to stay warm.

Best handwarmers out there!

I've bought a few brands and these are the best I use them when I go fishing in cold weather I will pull them out of the bag at 5am and they are still warm at 8pm small enough to fit in a glove to keep your hands warm while fishing

Perfect for any cold weather activity

Every winter these babies are essential to making the not so friendly cold weather activities bearable! Each packet contains 2 hand warmers. Easy to tear off plastic for "activating" the heat pouches once exposed to air. Toss them in between my glove liners and mittens for a day on the slopes and they're the best at keeping my fingers warm and comfortable. I've also used their larger sized ones in the pockets of my ski pants and they too, work great. The heat lasts me all day while out skiing and even hours later (usually around 8 hours) the warmth can still be felt. Being outside with freezing hands is never any fun, so might as well pack a few of these in your pockets for any cold weather activity or just to have in the car for winter emergency. Plus their expiration date on my package was for 2 years!

My girlfriend who fishes in the cold loves these! She put some in her socks and pockets.

I sent those to my friend who lives in Oklahoma. This winter it was freezing cold, and she was still fishing. So I gave these to her as a surprise, and she just loved them. She put them in her sock and she put them in her pocket and she really loved them.

Great Quality- Long Lasting

Bought these for my son for camp and not only did they help keep him toasty, but he shared with friends and they were a hit! (Especially in the snow) Worked great, lasted for at least 8 hours.

Will save you from going home from the cold in construction

I’ve never tried these until this one morning. It was very cold, and I had everything except the correct gloves, I kept thinking hell I was going to call it quits until a buddy of mine handed me a pair of these and I’ll tell you man it was like Mercy from the cold. These things are great if you work outside or whatever I’m sure you already know about these but if you do not not a bad idea to have a couple of these laying around.

Long lasting and keeps hands and toes warm!

Long lasting and if you they are still warm when you're done using them, put them in a baggie and squeeze all the air out and use them again another day.

The best of the best !

These are the warmest and longest lasting single use hand warmers I have ever used . Beware of imitation brands . I have tried others that look like this , but they don’t last long or get very warm . I open a pair at 6 am , by 6:15 they are warmed up to optimal heat but warm within 3 minutes . At noon they are still hot and at 4:15 pm they still have a little bit of warmth left . For best performance they need to be kept out of open air . I use them inside my mittens are are a life saver when the temperature drops below minus ten degrees celsius . I have never used these bare handed or in a pocket but they should work fine that way as well. On days of minus 25 and below these hand warmers are crucial. If there is any negative , it’s that sometimes they get too hot for me . I spend many many hours outside and i need comfort. This is the only brand I trust . I recommend this to anyone who lives in a cold climate and uses mittens outside for an extended time . November 2020:Updated to add that these also work if you are outside bare handed or in a warehouse with sub zero temperatures. November 2020 :updated to add that current stock has an expiry date of June 2024. TLDR : Just get them!

Buenooos

Los use en un viaje a Canadá, con temperaturas bajo cero y nieve; sirve bastante ya que te mantiene las manos calentitas, duran entre 6 y 8 horas sin embargo algunos pads son más calientes que otros, pero no queman la piel. Tardan en calentarse, sugeriría abrirlos de 10 a 15 minutos antes de usarlos por eso les doy un 4 ????????????

Great for skiing and cold winter days

I pack one when we are going skiing/outdoors for a long period of time My daughter loves it when we go tobaganing as well.. esp in Canada where it gets really cold PRO: KEEPS you warm and easy access. - LEAK PROOF, nothing spilled - lasts for more than 10 hours CON - expensive - one time use only - smaller in size so adults like me prefer a larger size patch

Las amo

Muy recomendables, son muy fáciles de usar, pues sólo hay que abrir la bolsita de plástico y agitar un poco, no tarda mucho en comenzar a calentarse. La temperatura es agradable, sin embargo hay que tener cuidado ya que una vez activada la bolsa, si se guarda en los bolsillos del pantalón o suéter, puede llegar a calentarse demasiado. Me ayudan mucho a calentar las manos cuando hace mucho frio, no queman las manos, y el tamaño que tienen es muy apropiado para llevar en una sola mano. Funciona durante bastante tiempo, creo que incluso un poco más de lo que se especifica en las instrucciones.
