Nice accent light

These post lights are not very bright, but they are easy to install. The top and bottom twist off and the necessary screws are included. They are quite large and will fit a 6x6 post as well as a 4x4, however, they do not sit flush with the edges of a 6x6. There is about 1/8 inch of post on each side of the cap when centered. The lights don't really illuminate well, but the pattern is nice. They work well as accent lighting. The battery charges via solar panel and the lights stay on until morning, so the battery life is good. Overall, these are nice-looking post lights that throw off a small amount of light. You can see them, but they don't light up the decking at all. If you want bright post lights, this is not for you.

Decent Post Accent Lights

PROS +Look more attractive than other options +Easy to install with all necessary screws included +Solar-powered CONS -The light intensity at night is quite weak. They're more like accent lights than lights that actually illuminate the surroundings. -Small screws are quite easy to strip so go slow when screwing them in. Probably best to avoid using a power tool during installation. SUMMARY These lights are easily mounted on a wood fence post with a Phillips screwdriver and the included screws. They are fairly attractive looking during the day. During the night, the intensity of the light dispersed really could have been stronger. That would have made them much better in my opinion. Overall rating is 3.5 Stars

A bit larger than expected

These are nice lights and charge up very well even with limited sun light. The downside is they are a bit larger so they can accommodate a 6X6 post and a 4X4 post. In addition it is a bit of a tricky install since most have a recess for a 4X4 post and one for a 6X6 post, this one bring a tape measure to make sure this light is centered. Overall nice light but I might have to move it from my deck stairway to another edge.

Solar works, doesnt quite fit 6in posts, not that bright.

Grabbed this set of two to test out; after having to make some alterations (changing included screws to make up for off sized post cap, adding small wood shim for spacing issue) this was what I would expect mostly from a plastic made fence post cap-style light. The rechargable battery does hold a reasonable charge for the light at night, though said light is not as bright as the seller markets this as. If you are looking for a more modest, accent light for the backyard fence line this works okay, but I think better could be found.

Great accent light on my fence posts in the backyard.

These solar post cap lights worked right out of the package after removing the tag on the battery that's included. I like the style and shape, perfect on top of a fence post. The glass has a pattern to it which makes the light reflection really cool. These post cap lights are the perfect accent on the fence post in our backyard. Provides the right amount of light without being overly bright. We use our overhead outdoor lights when we want brighter light. But now can have a nice ambient light compliment with these! Great value.

Quick install, low light

These installed easily and the sensors work great. The black color is much better looking than the copper. These are not useful for illuminating steps, as the light is very low. They are pretty for more decorative purposes or used in multiples where higher light levels would be too much.

Solar LED Outdoor Post Cap Lights

Very nice set of LED Solar Post Cap Lights. You can mount these to a post to help light your deck, fence or just set a post. It is nice to have solar lights so you can have lights in places that you normally can't get electricity to. These are great for safety and easy to install. You just turn switch on, mount with enclosed screws and make sure they are set so the sun shines on them during the day. They have automatic off during daylight hours. A very nice addition to your home.
