Luggage racks - hold the luggage ok

What is there to say? They are luggage racks. They do hold a suitcase well in our guest room and fold up nice and flat for storing when not in use. They were not hard to assemble. I do wish they came in more color varieties.

Easy to put together; great addition to guest room!

Took more time to take it out of the package than to put it together! Simply match the legs to the diagram and it snaps right together. No issues at all! Fabulous for the price, perfect for our guest room which has seen many guests this holiday season.

Like many others everyone else I had a situation where I would need a luggage rack for guests, so we are talking about this being used 2-3 times a year and I didn't want to spend much. Based on the reviews I went for it and it this does the job of holding luggage, so you don't need to bend over. The product does what is says it will do and the price cannot be better. Now, putting this thing together seems like a no brainer and I read all the reviews where people claimed it was hard to accomplish. It isn't that it is hard, but the directions are not helpful, parts are not labeled so you have to get each step right or you only have a one in 10 chance that it will work. I agree with other reviewers, if you force it together it is almost impossible to take apart (no joke). The key is not to put all four legs together unless they fit naturally. If you have to struggle at all to get the fourth connection made, STOP and START again. This item ships in a very small, flat box, so to get it in the box they essentially cut off the "X" scissor shaped pieces on either side, just before the curve which become straight and has the nylon straps on both side. You can visualize it if you look at the picture of the product. So there are three parts in the box: -a left, hinged-scissor-type "X" piece -a right, hinged-scissor-type "X" piece -then the two pieces of curved metal which have the nylon straps factory attached on both sides (I am calling this one part, since they both sides are attached with the nylon and cannot be taken apart). All of the pieces fit together with metal button you depress and slip into the hole on the adjoining piece. Think about how you connect a vacuum cleaner and the pieces of the tube or head snap together. The big reveal here is that out of the box the hinged "X" pieces may need to be moved in the opposite direction from how they arrive. For example, by design a pair of scissors stops when both pieces meet the center - with this product the left and right hinged scissor X parts can in fact meet in the center and continue rotating beyond the center point and that my friends was not something I thought about and ended up being the problem for me putting it together. So, as I put this together, I made three connections and then tested to see if the fourth connection would be a struggle to get on, if it was, I could easily undo them and started again moving parts around and try again. Bottom line, is that it took me about 10 tries, but I finally got it and never intend to take the dang thing apart again. EVER. GOOD LUCK ;)

Good value for the money

Edit Having taken this recently to a car camping trip, I can clearly say this was a huge boon. Placed in a vestibule, this luggage rack allowed me to keep my pack and some other gear off the ground. As it rained the first night, it kept my pack from getting soaked from the ground. Awesome. I wish there was a shorter version with the same overall "surface" area that could collapse better to take on hiking trips. having a soaked pack from ground puddles is not fun as hiking with the pack the next day means a wet backside. --- I had no idea luggage racks could be so expensive. I had the idea to get this because when car camping in a cheap tent, the tent had gotten soaked before. So I wanted a solution to keep my gear close, but also keep the gear off the ground and have a place to hang wet clothes. Price wise, you can't find a luggage rack cheaper than this on Amazon, and given that these can go up into 3 digit figures, $21 seems like a great deal. the rounded corners are built very well to add strength, but the connection points were a little shoddy. There were welds on the inside that I had to file down with a metal filer to be able to insert the legs. Once inserted, though, the luggage rack works just fine. Since we're talking about car camping, a little rust-o-leum will go a long way to protecting the metal frame from rust damage, but otherwise, this luggage rack is perfect. A tad taller than some others (which is a plus), and very light, this will be my goto device for luxury car camping going forward.

VERY HANDY!!!

I really appreciated this when I was staying with a friend in another state. There was no closet room for me, but I was able to organize my suitcase and have it at hip level. I maxxed out my Airline suitcase both in size and weight, and this was still very sturdy. The major drawback was assembly. I couldn't figure out which was the "long side" versus the "short side," because both pieces looked exactly the same, but I could tell the directions were written in another language. I eventually figured out that it had to do with keeping the inner poles both on the same side.

Just like the ones at hotels! Great quality and strong!!

High quality and as good as the ones in hotels! I bought 6 for our vacation home and we love them! No more laying suitcases on the floor! Perfect height! Just pay attention to the directions! I put one together wrong and it was a stinker to get apart. I didn't read the directions cause it was easy to see how it went together. But legs are 2 different sizes and have to be put together according to the directions!! Once you do the first one then the rest are easy!! In the end you can see why the legs are different so that it leans back just a little and supports the weight!! I'm actually going to buy a couple more for my daughters house for when we go visit we live out of our suitcase just for a weekend visit. They are perfect!!

Does the job

Serves it’s purpose. Slightly confusing but ultimately easy to assemble. I am a flight attendant so I use this item weekly. I’ve had it for a few months and it is holding up so far.

Perfect and priced right.

Took a minute to assemble. Good quality. So good, that my sister took it for her vacation rental – because she needed it sooner. I now will be ordering another for me. Nothing worse than having to put clothes or a suitcase on the floor or bed.

A must have in a guest bedroom.

I use this in my guest room for visitors to rest their suitcase. It works quite well, and I am sure it is appreciated. It’s light weight and folds easily for storage.

Good for its purpose

Good price and It is discreet in the room and practical. It is not sturdy enough for very heavy suitcases, I wouldn't put on it a suitcase heavier than 35kg. But in overall I am very satisfied, it does it's job for occasional use.
