Problem with paint chipping

It was very heavy and seems sturdy. Only thing I don't like is the paint job was not good. The paint was chipping off and you can see this in pictures. For the price you would expect a better paint job. I only got this bed frame because of the feet on it. Luckily once bed is on it and bed is made you can't see the poor quality of paint job. If I didn't need it right now I would have returned it.

Does what its suppose to holds my bed

Bought this bedframe to replace a Hollywood bedframe I had for years. I have had it for a month now. This seems to be a well made frame that holds my bed with no squeaks or noises and was pretty easy to set up. I needed a bedframe rather quickly and picked this one. I bought a new mattress and the manufacturer told me I needed a bedframe with at least one center leg. This frame was cheaper than buying a center support leg for my existing Hollywood bedframe. Like that makes any sense! What I noticed before I bought this frame was the placement of the center support leg on the sides and thought for me this might be a concern as I have clown feet ( size 17 shoe ) My first thought I will just fold that leg up out of the way. When I got the bedframe the legs were riveted on. so I got some foam and made a toe bumper for that leg. So if you have clown feet like me just be mindful of that center leg!

Sturdiness has yet to be determined

Like that it has 9 supporting feet and lift height of 7" seems about right. It goes together fairly easily EXCEPT......the legs have burrs on them that need to be filed smooth before attempting to push on the plastic feet. The steel is lighter weight than I would prefer and every structural piece is hinged in the middle to reduce the size of the shipping box. You will need to buy the footboard extensions separately if you're planning to use one. The use of plastic feet is a concern as they could break and them the entire bed frame would be useless.

Versatile

I was searching for an inexpensive frame for a new bed and the one I usually buy was not available. I saw this one that could fit multiple sized beds and was well priced. It was delivered and sat for a month till the mattresses finally arrived. I was intrigued by the shape of the box as usually they are long and thinner. When we opened it it all made sense. Assembly was a bit rough as the locks for the width were very tight fit and hard to open. I checked the directions for aligning it properly for the size bed we got and it went together fairly easily from there. The damaged paint in the pictures was how it looked when it was unpacked. Overall I would say this is a decent frame especially if you want something more versatile.

Cheap

Just a cheap mass produced bed frame. It works. Kinda cheaply made, but how many times do you move the bed? Okay, just kinda cheap

This is not an old-school metal bed frame. They make them different now.

The old model metal bedframes used to have hooks that latch right into the older bed headboard and footboards. That was what I was looking for. That is not what this product is. Sending this back and starting from scratch. With these metal frames, I imagine there is screw work that needs to be done to latch the bedboards to the frame. Otherwise this metal frame is very sturdy. Take your time with it.
