Well built construction

You'll get about a year out of these

I have tried several brands of swim glove, these are my favorite for their fit and comfort. However, they start to lose integrity after a few months and figure a year is what you will get before replacement (I swim 3 times a week)

Extra propulsion and added maneuverability.

These were great investment. I have been snorkeling all my life and never invested in these types of gear. I was impressed with the added propulsion and maneuverability that they gave me. plus added protection for my hands. I highly recommend these to anyone snorkeling or diving or even river runners they are nice fit no slippage off the hands well padded and very well made. I recently had been snorkeling and my fin strap broke and these allowed me to get to shore safely even with the shallow reef that required timing your traverses across shallow stretches with the waves.

Good Gloves

These are high quality swim gloves. I gave them a 4 because they are undersized, but I can make them work. They are very well made. The last set of gloves like this I used fell apart after using them 3 times. The stitching is strong and will last a long time. I recommend this product.

Great Water Exercise Gloves

I use them for "aqua aerobics" exercise in the pool. They work fine for adding resistance and assisting movement. The fit is good, but I'd prefer more than the very tips of my fingers to stick out (like maybe just past the first knuckle).

Work for me, build shoulders

I am swimming at least three miles a week with these gloves. They are strengthening my shoulders, and I am OLD! They seem resistant to the chemicals in a public pool. 2 years later: Gloves disintegrated as we passed the two year mark. I had rinsed them after every swim. They are good for the workout/shoulders, so I bought a second pair.

Good swim gloves

I bought these before and they fit very well. The price is right. My only complaint is that they lasted me only one year. I swim 3-4 times a week, so I use them a lot. I am not sure how durable other swim gloves are. Perhaps after a year all swim gloves start to come apart at the seems.

Velcro doesn't last long

The gloves are great, but velcro doesn't stay on reliably after a couple of months' use.

Comfortable after a few washes.

These are gloves used to create resistance in the water when doing exercises or swimming. They are made from neoprene and initially are fairly inflexible. However, after several washes and use of the spin dryer in the changing room they softened and were very comfortable. They are well made. They are rather expensive and the price has increased astronomically since my first pair. Remember to look at other suppliers on amazon as they may offer a cheaper version in your size.

Perfect for small ladies hands

I wanted sturdy gloves in a small size. These are perfect and have survived quite a few aquarobic sessions. The manufacture was pretty good, strong seams. The only niggle was the L hand thumb was a bit tight, it seemed that the machining went askew. However after a few wearings it stretched to fit comfortably. I am very pleased with them and would recommend them if you have a small hand.

Head Swimming Gloves

I have used swimming gloves for many years in our health club pool and on holidays they are marvellous to help you tone your body, as they work as a resistance against the water and make it harder for you to exercise and in turn tone and burn calories up. Since buying these Head gloves, which I must say are the first ones of this make I have ever owned; I find they are fabulous, better than any I have ever purchased before, so much so that I have ordered another pair today. They are really good quality and they are comfortable to wear; a small size is quite generous. My friends at the gym have been so impressed that I have ordered some for them a few weeks ago and they find them great. One lady said she actually did more lengths swimming as they keep you buoyant in the water. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of buying them and at a good price too and delivered quickly and efficiently by Amazon you cannot go wrong. Hope this review was helpful to you.

Not very user friendly

Neoprene exterior, durable flexible rubber on inner side. I am a size 8/10 lady and ordered small and the fingers fit ok but remain tight. The thumb holes however, are so tight they cut into my thumbs and make them go white. I can't feel them within seconds! I am unable to use this product. Wish I'd ordered a medium. To add 'insult to injury' the velcro wristband has caught my new £70 bikini and plucked the fabric!

Velcro Wore out Pretty Quickly, otherwise good !

I now seem to have bought every make and model of this type of swimming glove on the market: (1) Speedo with velcro wrist cuff; (2) Speedo without wrist-cuff; (3) Aquasphere with wrist cuff and these un-branded ones. I swim quite seriously (100 lengths about 4 times a week taking me about 50 minutes per session). This type of product doesn't greatly increase your speed, but definitely gives you a serious upper body workout into the bargain ! I have counted that without the gloves it takes me one less stroke to complete a length than with them, but after the first few times you use them you really feel it - thereafter you begin to build up muscle tone to compensate. The problem with the velcro-wrist type is that the velcro has a habit of wearing loose (and no, I haven't over-tightened it). This can become a bit irritating. By contrast those without the wrist cuff can wear loose over time (buy a slightly smaller size to allow for stretch over time). My winner is the Speedo with velcro wrist cuff: the cuff hasn't worn out after a couple of weeks use. Moreover the more solid rubber 'hand sole' gives greater resistance than other brands. Second on the list would be these unbranded ones, which seem to have a stronger velcro strapping. Third the aquasphere model and finally the speedo without the wrist band. In fact if I'd bought a size smaller of the Speedo without the wrist band these might have been my favourite, but lost out for not providing much resistance...... So there is a full review of all of them....!
