Too small? Larger than a conventional coffee cup.

These are very nice cups. They are made of plastic, and not insulated. They are an honest 14 oz; filled to the brim they hold 16 oz so they won't easily spill when filled to 14 oz. Seriously, too small? Your typical ceramic coffee mug is maybe 10 oz to the brim and holds an actual cup (8 oz) well. A vending machine cup of coffee is typically 5 oz. Those fancy tea cups that often serve after-dinner coffee are around 4 oz. Sturdy quality polypropylene. Handle is strong and well-shaped, and open enough for gloved fingers. Looking at the negative reviews, they all seem to have strange, unwarranted expectations.

Nice hiking mug.

This is a very sturdy and lightweight camp/ hiking mug. I'm into bikepacking and wanted a mug I could clip to my backpack or saddlebag. This mug is very lightweight, easy to clean, sturdy, and I uneffected by heat. You can put boiling water directly in the mug for coffee or tea and it doesn't hurt the mug at all!

Why all the bad reviews?

Bought this cup as a bang around mug to take to work as I work third shift and needed something cheap yet shatterproof for daily transportation. I honestly do not know why there are so many recent bad reviews. The mug is decently sized for a regular coffee mug, it's made of decent enough plastic that I don't burn my hands when I touch it after pouring a hot drink, and it hasn't broken despite being attached to a grimlock hook on the outside of my backpack. For just a bit over 5$ what else can you ask for? Heck, I got the green and the shade was very nice. Maybe I lucked out and got a good mug but I am guessing some people have Champaign taste with beer pockets.

A great Mug

This mug is well made and has a comfortable handle which can be used with light gloves. There is no flavor issues retention issues. It’s easy to clean and should last well in the camping and travel environment.

It’s Not Easy Being Green

Mug received was not the color I ordered. It’s green, but a completely different shade. In addition, the sides are textured and not smooth. Otherwise it was it is/was exactly what I was expecting - a plastic mug. Will be used for its intended purpose, will update if I get the “plastic “ taste other reviewers mentioned. Sad about the green being different than expected. Would have give higher star rating otherwise.

Nice camping mug

Nice camping mug. We had plastic mugs, probably from the 70's in lime green and gold. We have always used them camping and still do. But, now we have a daughter and needed a third. I love the old mugs so much I actually tried to find a third to buy but couldn't find one. So, I bought three of these. They are lightweight like our old mugs but they do SO much better at keeping the drinks warm. Great buy!
