It is a budget coffee press, but it does work.
With much of the press portion being plastic, I am not sure how long it will last, as you cannot screw the handle nut very tight or it strips due to being a very soft plastic. Otherwise, being a plastic pot, it won't ever shatter when you add hot water, which is a plus. The flat of the press knob is useful for standing the press portion upside down on a countertop when adding the coffee to the pot. So far I have not noted any off taste from it being plastic, and the water does not lose much heat from it being plastic either. I had my doubts at first, but no flavor issues have developed.

Holds at least three cups.
Bought to replace a glass unit which I broke. Works well. Lightweight, holds 3+ cups. I only make 2 at a time, so good deal. Material seems sturdy enough. Cleans up fine in dishwasher. Shorter/wider than old one so can put on top rack.

Durable and good size
Unlike most french presses, this one is made of a hard plastic which thankfully does not leave a plasticy taste in your freshly brewed coffee. Like most french presses it is very easy to clean, and it makes two very decent sized mugs of coffee or three small-med size servings. I am used to glass french presses which I ultimately break, and though I have switched back to a glass french press since buying this (something about pouring very hot water into plastic and consuming that very often makes me nervous), I did not return this item as I would like to have a good french press for traveling or as a backup if I inevitably break my glass one.

Cold Brew Here I Come!
This turns out to be a good value for home or camping use. I actually got it so I could load it up at night and have cold brew in the morning (it's currently summertime). The plunger screen works very well. Experiment with how much ground coffee to put in to get the required strength. Clean with soap, as coffee leaves a slight oil residue.

Just what I needed for quick overnight camping trips
PRO: Does what it is intended to do. Seems to be sturdy enough. Easy to pack with my other camping gear. Capacity sufficient for my one 20oz daily cup of coffee allotment. Little or no coffee grounds in the finished brew. (no more than I might typically get in my home drip coffee maker) Better than getting stuck with instant or freeze dried coffee when camping, since I don't need to make a percolator pot full like others might choose to do. CON: Seems to be a weaker brew than my home drip coffee maker, even when increasing the suggested steeping time, and even using more coffee grinds. For some reason I was under the impression that a french press would give a full flavored, robust cup of coffee. This one produces a end result that is noticeably 'lighter' than the brew my home coffee maker delivers. Maybe because my home coffee maker has a BOLD setting that I always use?

Good for Camping
I bought this for camping and as of today, I’ve only used it 4 days. I had originally found it online at Kohl’s by googling coffee presses. Kohl’s was cheaper but I needed it for camping and I didn’t want to spend a lot more money to get the free shipping. That is why I paid a few dollars more through Amazon. Overall it works great. I do however have nothing but a regular coffee machine to compare it to. But I’m happy with no complaints, it makes great coffee for camping!

Buen diseño pero se filtra el café
La cafetera tiene un buen diseño, aunque de materiales económicos (nada mal para el precio). Es de plástico y se ve resistente. Lo malo de la cafetera es que la manera en la que el filtro está sujetado hace que se doble alrededor del diámetro y queden unos espacios vacíos por donde se filtran granos de café una vez que lo prensas. Esto hace que la cafetera sea inutilizable con la mayoría de los cafés. Probé 3 molidos diferentes para americano y sólo con uno funcionó más o menos. No sé si me llegó un modelo defectuoso o así sean todas, pero la tuve que regresar ya que no me servía.

Buena cafetera de prensa francesa
De un inicio no estaba seguro de adquirirlo sin embargo lo hice y cabe mencionar que no es lo mejor q me ha pasado pero en la medida del precio y su funcionalidad es un producto adecuado su resistencia y el sabor que se obtiene es superior a una cafetera de goteo pero aún se pasan algunos granos de café, creo q puedo vivir con eso, pienso adquirir una cafetera de prensa francesas de mejor calidad pero esta fue la que inicio el proceso de cambio

Its an okay stated to try and see if its a product that you would like, a starter if you please
The screen does not create a tight seal against the carafe and allows grounds to seep around it even when you press it slowly. ( Going slow does mean you get less grounds)We got it to try the idea out and over all I think it was a wise investment because we discovered that I was the only one who would go through the motions to make the coffee, so a larger one is not going to work for us. Its an okay stated to try and see if its a product that you would like, a starter if you please. But for more serious coffee drinkers not at all.

Creí que era de Cristal porque necesitaba remplazar una igual que tenía en ese material, no leí la descripción, solo vi que era idéntica y por el costo creí que era igual. Funciona para lo que la compré.
