Good Replacement Regulator For Any Propane Grill
I own a high end Weber grill that originally came with a regulator and hose that was made in Italy. I searched and found an OEM replacement regulator. The replacement regulator was made in China and substantially lighter and felt cheaper than the original. But I decided, what the heck. A regulator is a simple device,.....so as long as it works. I installed the OEM replacement and it did not work properly right out of the box. Back it went. I thought perhaps it was a cheap Chinese knock off. So I called Weber, and sure enough, they are now using China as a supplier for their replacement regulators. So I searched Amazon to see if I could find a regulator with with a long enough hose. I found this GrillPro regulator with a 24" hose. Again, a regulator is a regulator. This regulator did not even need an adapter to fit my grill. When installed all 3 main burners and all the side burners were able to burn on high. (Allows enough gas through the regulator) Now this regulator is made in Mexico and is somewhat lighter than the original Italian regulator. (But heavier than the replacement Chinese OEM regulator.) But it worked just as good as the original Italian regulator. And this swap out was just as easy as though it had been the OEM. I would strongly recommend this regulator over the OEM regulator for Weber until Weber gets it's act together and realizes that it built it's name on a quality product VS how much it can save buy selling us junk.

Nice length, lightweight
Replaced an old hose on my five burner Kenmore gas grill with this and fits better than original. Has nice longer length so getting tank onto hose is much, much easier. Also, my original did not have the 90 degree bend at the regulator and made it a challenge to change gas tanks. This design makes it much easier to get the tank into the cabinet. The regulator did appear a lot lighter than my original, but works. Was skeptical at first at lightweight feel, but has been working for two weeks now with no flaws in service. It is always good practice to check for gas leaks with soapy bubbles whenever installing gas parts. Just take some soap on a damp paper towel and run it across the length of hose and regulator. Turn on gas and check for any bubbles. Wipe off when done. Repeat this gas leak test every so often for safety reasons when working with any gas product. Mine had no bubbles or gas smell. The part has been working great. Highly recommend.

Make sure you measure your hose first..
It is not an exciting thing to buy a regulator for a BBQ, but it was nice to buy this rather than to scrap a $200 BBQ and be out the money of buying a brand new one. This thing worked great and had plenty long enough cord. Since the one end is going to connect directly to your propane tank, what you need to do is make sure that you have that stand fitting for your burner/system (most do) and then measure how long your cord is to make sure that this cord is going to be long enough. It was more than long enough for mine, and its better to have a little extra than to not have it long enough. Just gives you more room to move your propane tank about.

Its like having a new grill.
Fit my Costco grill perfectly and easy to attach. I replaced grill plates and burners at same time. Its like having a new grill. BTW, check your regulator hose a couple of times per year. My old one was so frayed and cracked that propane was leaking and I didn't realize it. The reason I did check mine was that the grill wasn't performing well AND a neighbor had a propane tank explode that was too close to his house, The flames shot up to his roof, then spread throughout the house. Didn't want that to happen to me. I could have had a disaster. Now I feel safe

Perfect for Nexgrill from Costco
I have a monster grill from Costco that is less than 3 years old. Was ready to take it back until I figured out the regulator was bad. These problems are so frustrating. This regulator is physically smaller, but it works fine and I'm glad not to have a factory replacement. So many bad parts on this grill but this is the first that was out of warranty. Still easier to pay for this than load it in a trailer and bring it back to Costco. My grill has 4 regular propane burners plus a two IR burners and a side burner - so gas flow is no problem with this regulator. Next problem out of warranty and the whole thing goes back to Costco.

It seems to work fine
When my old grill regulator died I wanted a regulator with a hose that was longer than the 18" one on the grill because it was hard to change out the gas bottle. I could not source a longer one locally and found this one on Amazon at a reasonable price. I only gave it four stars because we only used it for a few weeks before we got a new Weber grill so i can't address its long term durability. But from what I did see it seemed to be a quality product and it worked.

My old regulator went bad and I couldn't get the grill above 225 degrees
This brought back my Kenmore 5 burner grill. My old regulator went bad and I couldn't get the grill above 225 degrees. All the burners wouldn't work at the same time either. As soon as I swapped this in for the OEM the grill worked like new. This was a quick change, direct replacement. Simply unscrewed the old and put this one in place. The length in my situation was pretty much exactly the same. Just make sure you measure before ordering.

Fit / works perfectly
The regulator on my Napoleon gas BBQ began to intermittently stop gas flow. The OEM replacement was $60, so after some research, I ordered this cheaper model. This one fit perfectly and works fine (but so did the original for 10 years). We'll see how long this one lasts. They're all made in China, so of questionable quality.

Lit the BBQ and found all burners lit up like magic. BBQ attained a temperature of 700 degrees
Hose was connected to the BBQ and tested for leaks with soap and water. Lit the BBQ and found all burners lit up like magic. BBQ attained a temperature of 700 degrees. The old regulator was actually defective. Remember to always test your connections with equal amounts of soap and water. If bubbles appear sut off the tank and fix the connection.
