Solid, well made grater

This is a great quality grater with nice, sharp nubs for your ginger and other items. It's thick and heavy with a couple of nice features like the grip handle and a rubber bumper on the opposite end of the handle to allow you to rest it on a hard surface when grating. I have several Kyocera products that I love and this one did not disappoint.

For grating Ginger, nothing else comes close.

Finally, I found the Holy Ginger Grater. My wife and I raced, and this was 8-10 times faster than using microplanes, or small porcelain graters, or fine vegetable graters. I prepared180 grams of grated ginger is just about 6 minutes. By the time I had finished, the microplane had made just under two teaspoons. We repeated the trial with our ginger grater collection, and it was just a blowout. This monster grates ginger like nothing else, is durable and easy to clean. It's large size helps a lot, and a silicone pad works for a while, but ginger juice eliminates the non-lip benefit the first time you pick up the grater to push some ginger around. Wow.

You need this!

This is the second one I’ve purchased. It’s without question the best piece of kitchen equipment for grating any type of fibrous vegetable (ginger, turmeric, lemongrass), take your pick. It’s ceramic so if you drop it, it will most definitely break but, otherwise very sturdy and well made.

Easy to clean

This is the best ginger grater I have had ( I have tried many ) because it grates fast and easy and is very easy to clean there are no holes for pieces to get stuck in like other graters

The indentation is bigger than I though

It's bigger than I anticipated, so Its not great for garlic as they announce it. The small Kyocera ceramic plate is better for this. For the other things is great (cheese, ginger)

Food sticks to it.

Tried it with garlic clove and ginger and lemon zest. They all stick to this item and you can't get the food off of it. Certainly possible I am missing something in terms of how to use it but it seems pretty straight forward.

Nice quality

It works perfectly for my lemon zest and Parmesan cheese so far! Great tool to have in the kitchen. And recently I grated some ginger and it’s amazing how easy and effortless it can be done! Love it!

Zufrieden

Habe diese Reibe für mein Man geholt, nach dem er riesige Mengen an ingwerknollen für seinen Tee benötigt hat. Nun reichen kleinste Mengen vom Ingwer und der Tee schmeckt viel intensiver nach kürzester einwirkzeit. Ich Reibe den Ingwer in eine Kanne und Spüle quasi den restlichen Ingwer mit dem heißen Wasser gleich in mit in die Kanne und fertig . Habe aber keine Vergleichswerte . Ist unserer erste Reibe. Bin zufrieden , trotz des für mich hohen Preises

Tolles Gerät

Die Reibe funktioniert hervorragend. Sie ist teuer. Wollte sie jedoch unbedingt probieren. Was dazu gehörte wäre ein Pinsel um alles von der Reibe zu bekommen. Habe damit schon viel verschiedene Dinge gerieben. Hat super geklappt.

Calidad Kyocera

Muy bien, como todos los productos Kyocera. La cerámica no desprende ninguna substancia dañina para la salud, y raya igual de bien que el acero inoxiable. Muy contenta.
