Bigger than expected.

Not suitable for my use. Too big. But it looks like a good bung if you have a suitable carboy/demijohn. For others who aren't in the know: hole size is 5cm to 5.7cm (2" to 2 1/4") Update in August, 2013: I found that this bung fits a 30 lb Silverbow honey jug (approx 2.5 gallon)

Exactly as advertised

This item is correctly advertised. I had ordered this to see if it would fit a 5 gallon water bottle sold at a home improvement store as a standard bung (stopper) is way to small and it just slips down the larger neck. However; this stopper is to big for that.
