Value, Great Product That Consistently Does as Expected
For the price, it's exceptional value, and reminds me of playing with these as a kid. And it's not said "they don't make them like they used to," because of nostalgia, it's said because the quality often was straight-forward and you got what you paid for. Today, too often, we end up jipped... I bought this for my son at Christmas, not knowing if he'd have much interest and use it. I wasn't going to shell out for a model that was double or triple the cost to have it go unused and eventually break. Turns out I didn't need to, as this has been excellent. It was easy to set up, plugged right in and went to work. The retrieval system works well and is consistent, as well as has a power adjstment wheel so you can have your ball shot back to you at whatever distance you want at that time. The wheel to adjust is right on top and easy to change at will. It's held up well and puts up with the abuse a 6-year-old boy puts it through. Really, these sell for triple and sometimes more what this model cost. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. This is all you need....

Freakin awesome
If you're a pro golfer and or nerdy (oh sorry did I say that outloud?) Engineer type? Then no? It's not JPL quantified accuracy by any means. But it's cheap and it's fun! Great reason for me to dust off my putter and create good fun with my new puppy. If it's fun you want? Grab this! Its cool. Love and laughter. M

Too light/inconsistent
It was and alright product. The weight of the ball returner is light so when the ball kicks back it adjusts the angle it’s returning it. Also the distances in which the ball is returned varies widely. Sometimes it’ll shoot 1 foot and others 10-11. Fun product if you weigh it down a bit.

Better than battery power
More consistently returns balls than battery-powered ball returns. Not too expensive so the investment is reasonable.

Fun but don't hold the actuator in!
Super fun! You will get different return distances based on your playing surface just as you would on the golf course. Just don't let your child or anyone else try to see how it works. If you hold your finger on the cylinder that shoots out and returns the ball it will quickly overheat and stop working. If this happens, unplug the unit and let it rest for a while. It might start working again once the solenoid cools off. I have Berber carpet and get a 13-15 foot return. Its fun to try to bank the ball off the wall or set up other obstacles to the hole.

Best Kickback on the Market, But Has Other Inherit Problems
I've owned several of these putt return devices over the years, both electric and battery operated. The last two I have owned were battery operated, which are typically better targets but have weak ball returns that only pop the ball back about 7' on average if you're lucky. This right sided electric ball return design is by far the strongest ball retriever, capable of launching a golf ball back well over 20' across a level commercial type carpet on the highest ball return setting. That being said, this model has a few noticeable problems that could be corrected by the designer/manufacturer fairly easily. #1) It lacks a well defined target/cup to better judge the accuracy of your putt.. #2) When this unit is turned up to the stronger ball return settings, the kick-back slides or shifts the entire unit to the right an inch or so, which shoots the ball a few inches farther away from a right hander. After about 4 or 5 putts, you have to redirect the unit back for a straight return again. #3) The return ramp on this model is a bit too flat which sometimes causes the golf ball to either stall on the ramp or barely kick back, which can be very frustrating after hitting a perfect putt. Other than those 3 things, the trade-off for a strong ball return may still out weigh the other inherent problems with this model's design.

I became an office hero
A co-worker brought a putter and a few balls into the office a few months ago and people would wander by his office throughout the day and putt a few balls into a coffee mug... the ping off of the mug and the constant running back and forth behind my desk was getting annoying, so I picked this up.... It's a larger target to aim at, so missed shots don't bang off the wall as frequently, and when they make the shot it auto returns the ball...which means fewer back-and-forth trips behind my desk.... Everyone has been thanking me and have all told me how awesome this device is.... I'll take the praise and complements, but I'm happier to be less annoyed by all of the want-to-be office golfers around here.

Better than battery operated
very nice putt return machine. Adjustable length of return of ball is a plus with this device. Able to return the ball anywhere from 3 feet to 20 feet.

Easy to practise with
Works as expected but the machine is so light that it moves and turns from the force of the ball being shot out. I’ve had to lay some heavy books on top to keep it shooting back to me in the same direction.
