Badass vest, but best for larger frames

Great vest, looks good, makes you feel badass wearing it! Seems well made, but I've only worn it a few times so far. The extra 20 pounds definitely makes movements like lunges, squats, and push ups more "fun"! I bought it primarily to up the burn of "stair climbing" intervals...literally jogging up and down flights of stairs. Is there an actual term for that? I don't know. Sadly though, jogging is very cumbersome with the vest on. For me, at least. I'm a woman, 5'5", 130lbs, athletic build, and about a 32" chest. I note this because, on me, I have to cinch in the vest's side straps ALL the way for it to not move around much. It's definitely made more for a man's wider frame. With non-bouncy movements, it's perfect. (And also pretty awesome to not have to hold weights in hand, or to be able to hold weights in addition to the vest) But if you're a woman my size or smaller, there will be no sprints, burpees, jumping jacks, plyo moves, etc., without this thing flopping up and down awkwardly unless you keep one or both hands on it... Which is awkward and unsafe and sort of defeats the point. Nevertheless, I do really like this vest and will be using it often for slower-paced strength moves.

Comfortable!

This weight vest fits me pretty well and rubs a lot less than the style with pockets and little sandbags. I've worn it for running, burpees, pushups, squats, lunges, etc. If I could cinch it in about another inch on each side it would fit perfectly. I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs. The sand in the vest has a tendency to fall into the very bottom section of the vest, which can be uncomfortable after a while, but I've learned to hold it upside down and shake the sand to evenly distribute it before I put it on and that seems to help.

Does what is expected

I went for a 17mile walk with this puppy on and let me tell yah my shoulders were sore as a bitch. It was pretty comfortable considering going from nothing to 20lbs on my shoulders for that long. I’d recommend easing in to it if you’re planning on wearing it for a long time. Pros: Solid construction Not the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen Weights 20lbs Cons: Straps could use a bit of padding imo, but hey what do I know? For the price I’d give it a solid 4⭐️

Excellent fit, but be wary of wear

Love this for runs and bodyweight+ workouts (weighted pullups, sit ups, planks, lunges, etc). The fit is incredible, although I wish the straps were slightly longer, as it's awkward to put on and clasp. It does put some pressure on my chest, but not discomforting. I've used it every day for 3 weeks and it developed a small hole on the body side in one of the corner creases. Seller was very helpful and is issuing a replacement. I wish they had a 50lb version!

Easy to use and comtortable

Really, this jump started my weight loss and is so easy to put on and take off. I weighed myself with it on and it is accurately 10lbs.

Solid Vest

It’s not as easy to put on as my last vest because the straps are on the sides but works well. Weight is distributed evenly and doesn’t strain my shoulders as much as my last one (other brand) even though this one is 8 pounds heavier. Also, not that the 20 pound version isn’t purple as shown in the pictures. It’s more of like a medium chalk gray overall with blue line by the shoulders.

The weight is amazing. Really helped me lose weight. I noticed the difference of weight loss when I ran and worked out on a regular basis (two times a day, one rest day), without the vest, in two weeks, I lost 4 pounds. Two weeks with the vest, I lost 9 pounds. Great product. Really sturdy as well. I used the Gold's Gym vest and it really moved around a lot. This vest, once tightened on the sides (you could tighten it once put on), really hardly moves, if any.

buyer beware.

searched for a weighted vest for running. read bunches of reviews on many vest. reviewers used same pictures of problems for more than one vest. different names ect, but similar like paid reviewers. who do you trust?

Excellent product

Product is excellent quality and very comfortable to wear. Highly secure even during dynamic movements while wearing it. One downside is may be difficult to buckle straps on when wearing it - but I just have straps loosened and put on overhead like a t Shirt, and then pull the straps on the sides to tighten it and secure it. All in all very satisfied with the product and would recommend it to others. Simple, good weight, secure, high quality, very comfortable, no issues with weights falling out like with other vests.

Love this. I want and need more of them. Different weights for different exercises. Got to do some deeper looking! Especially since my brother and mother has COMPLETELY taken it over but it is great.
