Exactly as expected.
I needed a narrow trashcan, that holds a 33 gallon trashbag. It fits my space perfectly & is exactly what I wanted. Ordering the lid separately is a pain; & they put 6 stickers on it, God knows why, but it still works perfectly.

Broken item
Corner of can is broken. I don’t want to be bothered with retuning, but it’s disappointing. Box was too big and not sufficient cushioning.

Large trash can that doesn't take up much space, Holds bag with great feature
Taller than the average so you have to be careful about the trash bag fitting. A regular kitchen bag will not work. Even though its a 23 gallon trash can you need at least 30 gallon bags I use 30 gal contractor bags. The trash can has these hooks under the rim on each corner that hold the bag. So the bag does not fall into the trash can, no tying of the bag to hold it in place is necessary. A favorite feature. The main reason I got this trash can is that it is large but designed to not take up much space. I have very little kitchen space and it's never in the way. We have large dogs and it keeps them out of the trash. The lid that is sold separately but I would recommend getting that as well because the if you have tall dogs the Lid prevents them from reaching in when its mostly full and taking items out of the trash. But even if you don't have dogs this is a great trash can because of how much it holds and how little space it takes. It is deep so not easy to clean. Taking it outside ad hosing it out is the easiest way to clean. But because it holds the trash bag in place I have not needed to clean it yet. Would recommend I'm so glad I got this. I love this trash can.

Nice and sturdy
It’s slim and tall… I bought it to go side by side with the Genuine Joe recycle bin I purchased a couple days before. It is a little bit taller than the recycle bin, so they don’t match perfectly, but both are very sturdy and are serving their purpose!

What do you want me to say? It’s a well made trash can. Sturdy and oh so sexy. You’ll likely have to hide it when your pals come over for a beer and to work in the shop with you for risk of looking too highbrow. This is the kind of trash can that is likely still at my elementary school after decades of use. I’m just guessing here, so you’d have to measure for yourself, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it could likely handle a month’s worth of that vomit wood dust stuff and still have room for all kinds of stuff. I don’t want to start a stampede, but you might want to get yourself one before the word is out. Sturdy, grey, and has hands.

Sturdy as heck and fits perfectly in narrow spaces
My boyfriend does construction so his clothes are usually super heavy with all kinds of dirt and extra stuff so we need a really sturdy laundry basket. We also need a laundry basket that fits in a really tight space in our room and discuss both! We liked it so much I got another one as a recycling bin by our garage door to fit behind a chair which is also another narrow space. For a laundry basket at first we were using one of those really tall wrapping paper plastic holders you can buy at Walmart around Christmas time but due to his heavy clothing the handles finally snapped off. I said screw it and bought one of these for the laundry basket and I've never looked back!

Perfect!!
I bought this 23 gallon waste container for our crushed aluminum cans. It is plenty sturdy for what I wanted it for. It is stored in the garage, and because of it's tall slim shape, it is a real space saver as opposed to a round shaped container. Up against a wall it uses very little space which is what I wanted. Garages never seem to have enough room for everything, so wherever I can save space helps. I had some 30 gallon trash bags before I bought this that I will use up, however they are not really tall enough for this container. Another reviewer said they are using 30 gallon bags, but they do not reach the bottom of the container if you want to hook the bag over the lip of the container. I just ordered the 40 gallon blue recycling bags from Amazon which will be taller and will work better. A box of 100 bags for about $29.00 that will last us a good long time. Another reviewer did not like the "Genuine Joe" logo that is on it. REALLY?? Who cares what is printed on it? It's a trash can for Pete's sake!!!
