Tubeless rider must
Small light, and works

Tool is decent, plugs are garbage.
I made it home from a ride but found a glass shard in the tire. So this is the first time I got to put this to use. Luckily wasn't out in the middle of nowhere, though. I like the compact size, the built-in core remover, the spare cores, and the slight bit of waterproof storage it can provide. I keep a Presta to Schrader adapter in it. I had two problems. First, the fork was bent closed. It took me a minute to get it to bend into working order. But the real problem is the plugs, or bacon, or whatever. They were stuck to the packaging plastic and would not come off without seriously compromising their structural integrity. After two attempts, the second time from the inside-out, I gave up and threw out the plugs. Used superglue and a "tire boot" to hold air instead. So now I'm on here shopping for better plugs to keep with this tool to give it a second chance. If it weren't for the garbage plugs, this thing might not be so bad.

Great for saving your ride!
I love riding with tubeless tires. Small punctures never stop me. I have tubeless tires on my road, gravel and mountain bikes. The only thing about tubeless tires is that they're susceptible to rips and large-diameter holes. The Tubeless Tackle kit has bailed me out more than a few times. It plugs the bigger holes, putting more material into the puncture/rip to let the sealant do its job. It's also nice to have a few extra valve cores inside the kit ... and the built-in core extractor is very slick. I'd suggest watching some "how to use" videos on YouTube so you know what to do when the time comes. Even the best tools (and this IS a good one) won't help you if you don't have the skills to apply them. A little study and practice, and this kit will bail you out when you really need some help. And you'll probably get a few hundred miles more out of your tubeless tire!

False advertising on the weight but a great product?
As many have stated before me, the weight is WAY OFF. I'm a trail rider. I personally don't care about weight. That said, if I was doing XC races or did any road racing... or just flat out tried to shave needless weight, I wouldn't be a happy camper. The product itself is built like a tank. The "case" could be half as thick as it is, heck, the bottom could be plastic and it would be more than durable enough for 99.9999999% of riders. There is room to throw a master link in there too which is nice. I'm super happy with the purchase overall and have seen this used many times. But man, its so heavy. I just can't shake it and that drops a star on a product that if it had the correct weight advertised... would absolutely be five stars. I am pretty happy with only a minor weight gain when I account for dropping my valve core remover that I used to carry separate. Still wish the bottom of this was plastic or thinner aluminum.

Don't make a cycling product heavy for the appearance of durability. Fantastic product though for the price and functionality.

Great little kit, needs to come with better plugs
I am a big fan of this little kit with one caveat. The bacon strips that came with this were almost unusable. I realize that is a small portion of the cost but it was disappointing to have to purchase plugs because the ones that came with it were not functional. That being said the kit is super functional and works great. This is heavy but I don’t care about ounces so that doesn’t impact me thoughts on it. Overall I would recommend it, just expect to buy new bacon strips.

You will need this...sooner or later.
If you ride tubeless, you need bacon strips becuase at some point, when you least expect it, you will get a puncture that will require more than sealant. After riding tubeless since 2002, I finally got a puncture that required TWO strips to seal it up. If you try one and it does not hold, remember, there are riders that use up to three pieces. I’m glad I had this little kit along with me. It worked as promised.

Heavy metal!
This thing is pretty nice! Some people say the case is plastic but the one I got is metal. It’s heavy duty and seems to be of good value. I used it right away to repair a puncture I have in my tub less tire. It is heavy but I’m not complaining. Not worried about the weight on my mtb rides.

Lifelong kit
This is a fantastic piece of kit from Genuine Innovations. I'm reviewing it primarily because some dramatic comments from weight weenie wannabes nearly put me off and made me cancel the order. Luckily, I didn't read the comments about the product's 'massive' weight until after delivery, however. Yes, it's possibly heavier than it needs to be (60g), but it's weatherproof, solid and unlikely to split or allow the 'bacon' to get hard (like the plastic version of the same product that I once bought did). As for the weight? Good quality tubes typically weigh 75-95 grams. I'm more than happy to carry 60g's worth of kit for the presence of mind that this kit offers! And it'll last a lifetime... Oh, and for the record, I'm as happy to shave off the grams as the next guy, having been a racing cyclist for 30 odd years now. To the people who moan about this being heavy? Visit the loo before you leave home; you'll lighten your load 10x's more than you will by foregoing this product!

Good but take a tube of solution from your old puncture kit!
Sensible size for carrying on the bike/pocket. Sides of bacon strips work well on punctures slightly too bud for Stan’s to seal on its own. Works better with some rubber solution to hold the repair in situ
