This product can greatly decrease the fogged up glasses effect from wearing a mask

I have been using this to avoid fogged up glasses when I wear a mask. Over all, I’m quite satisfied. The first time I put it on, my lenses still got partially foggy. However, the next application helped. It seems to kind of build up effectiveness, despite my washing my glasses. I typically apply the drops right after washing my glasses, and that usually does it until the next wash and application. Today, one lens was fogging a little, but it improved as the day continued. These drops are so much better than having foggy glasses while wearing a mask for social distancing.

Used for Hawaii snorkling

Worked as advertised. Let us snorkle and not get fogged lens. Had to re-apply after a few dives.

Does it actually work? UNCLEAR

The wife and I purchased before snorkeling in Hawaii. All directions were followed exactly and the drops didn't work for us at all. The first thing my wife said was how bad her goggles were fogging up. I laughed and agreed. WE HATE spending money and not getting what we paid for. The old method of a little spit on the goggles worked better than this. My opinion, not something I would purchase again.

not as good as the former product

This product is very liquid, compared to the old product which was a gel. Definitely harder to use just a little of this or get it where you want it. but it works well, and is certainly easy to rinse. I have been using this product and its predecessor on my prescription swim goggles for 15 years with no issues, despite the "not for swim goggles" warning.

Doesn't work for plastic safety glasses

I purchased this because it said it will defog plastic glasses. I drive a fork lift at my Walmart Distribution Center and I have to wear safety glasses while driving it. With Covid19 happening, they of course said we needed to wear face masks/coverings. Everyone's safety glasses would fog up immediately, so I was desperate to try anything to avoid that problem. Fogged up safety glasses and having a pallet 30+ feet in the air don't go hand in hand, and could definitely cause a accident to happen. Again, I was willing to try anything, even at 10 bucks for a little bottle. Someone said to try also using shaving cream on the glasses, that failed also. I'm going to assume it didn't work because its plastic and not glass. Either way, the product did not work for me or my situation. I really wish it would have because I would have had my whole department buying this product. You win some, you lose some I guess.

Great for medical masks/ glasses

Due to covid-19, it’s mandatory that we have to wear a mask out in public. I wear glasses so of course my glasses fogged up. I tried a lot of tricks that people recommended but none worked that good. I finally decided to find something on amazon and came across this. it works! it’s like a gel consistency and you only need a little bit. It makes my job easier at work now that my glasses don’t fog up all day long

Essential snorkeling accessory!

We took one of these to the tropics, along with our own snorkel masks. It made the world of a difference. We saw so many nice fish, and thanks to the Gear Aid Sea Drops anti-fog and cleaner, we saw them clearer.

The Real McCoy

If you find this review helpful, please click the appropriate button below. I was a bit nervous buying these sea drops online. The product in the picture looks nothing like the sea drops that I bought over seven years ago and am only now (after +100 dives) replacing. I needn't have been concerned. These are the real thing thing and work perfectly. My technique is: - apply sea drops to a completely dry mask, thoroughly rub around the inside of the lens (and onto the rubber) and leave to dry - just before a dive, apply more sea drops to the inside lens. - rinse the lens in the water, put it on, leave it. This is the approach that I've been using for +20 years, and it's never failed me. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had problems with a fogged mask - and it's always been because I didn't follow my own technique.

Just amazing

These drops are amazing. I don't know why Sea Drops says that you can't use them for swimming goggles. I do and they are amazing. I do a hard 1 hour session in the pool and never have to de-mist. They are simple to use, apply a drop and clean with a cloth or what I do is apply 1 drop to each side of my goggles, rub over the screen with my finger and rinse them in the pool, put them on and away you go. No fog what-so-ever.

Not staying clear

I successfully used these for years, but the current bottle is not working its magic. My goggles are fogging up so I will have to purchase elsewhere as these just don’t seem to do the job.

Works a treat

Perfect for my prescription goggles. Spray on, spread with finger and then a quick rinse in the pool. Lasts for the hour I swim.

No more fog! Simple to use and has never ...

No more fog! Simple to use and has never failed me. Writing this as the first bottle is nearly empty and about to re order. Edit- just seen not recommended for swim goggles. I don't know why. I have used it for 3 years with no problems
