Easy to use

I bought this to replace a broken buckle. It was easy to install and does the work. Seems to be of decent quality, but can't tell more since I just bought it.

Did not fit

I needed a replacement for the male piece of a 1" buckle. Unfortunately, this repair buckle only fits into its matching female buckle. My bike bag has the female side molded in to the side of the bag, so I cannot use the female side. I tried to match the Gear Aid male replacement with my bike bag, but it is too thick to fit in the standard female buckle. I even tried grinding it down, but still too thick - I'd have to do a lot of grinding to get it to work. I finally ordered Sea To Summit repair buckles and they work perfectly.

replace my broken buckle on my fav fanny pack

easy to use and it arrived quickly. didn't want to have to discard my fav fanny pack because the buckle was broken. replaced with this and it's perfect. Great product!

Very much worth it

I had a dog harness with a buckle that had one prong broken off. If the other prong had broken. The harness would have been disposed of if the the other piece had broken off. The gear aid buckle worked just like it should. It saved me from trying to undo a sewed strap and then having to resew it. It made the harness usable and safe again. The gear aid buckle was very easy to use. The only problem I had was removing the old buckle from the strap because it had to be cut off. I recommend the gear aid if you do not want or have, to replace your broken strap.

Well Worth It

My dog's harness buckle broke. I thought I was in for a new harness until I saw this item. It worked perfectly. I would definitely buy it again. It is solid, perhaps better than the original buckle.

Quick fix to an annoying problem.

I have no reason not to give it 5 stars. It did exactly what it said it would do: easily replace a faulty buckle on my fanny pack, using the existing fabric loops, with no sewing or other alterations on my part. I can actually wear my purse now without the buckle popping open constantly. I was concerned that this might be intended for a more temporary fix, but it's solid enough. If something happens to it, I'll probably get another one. It's worth the convenience.

Sturdy and easy to use!

This replacement buckle is sturdy and easy to put on. Taking the old broken one off takes more time then putting this one on. I used side cutters to remove the broken one. Also note only one comes in the package. For the price it should come with two in my opinion.
