Warped and unbalanced

Clear ball was warped and black puck weight ball was very unbalanced causing them to roll sporadically.

Great for pre-game warmup

This is a great little set for the hockey player in your family. Each ball has a specific training purpose and they all work, although some better than others. The puck weight ball is heavy and is great for practicing before a game to get your hands ready. It has a good feel and accurate representation of a puck. The agility training ball is great to use off ice, to help develop stick handling skills. My son uses it with some low profile cones to develop better puck movement. The weighted ball is designed to develop strength. I would not shoot with it (as it might damage your stick or garage door) and I am not certain how much it helps older kids. However, I could see it being beneficial for kids that are 10U to get their arm strength up after moving up from blue pucks at the 8u (mite) level. The lightweight reflex ball is an odd one. i guess its supposed to help with "soft" hands, but it seems too bouncy and I am not sure how well it works. My son uses it to pass with a teammate before games, but I am not sure it really helps. Overall this is a great value for the hockey player in your life.

Good for focused training

These balls are terrific. Each one does offer a noticeably different experience. The balls also seem to be durable. Each ball has the ball's specific "purpose" and weight printed on it. The printing is still there after a few sessions, but I'm keeping a photo of the cardboard header, because I'm not confident the words will always be there or that I'll always remember what each one is. The smallest ball had a lot of random marks when it was brand new. Not horrible for something which will be rolling on the ground, but it was odd. It also may or may not be worth mentioning -- the smallest ball can also go through a standard hockey goal net. The balls come with a little mesh storage bag which isn't remarkable, but it is useful!

Great training aid

i got these for my nephew, he is really into hockey at school, and he is doing really well. but it never hurts to get a little more training in outside of normal practices, especially during the summer time when they aren't in season. these are great. he already used them in the garage and really like them. i think they will be a great tool in helping him hone his skills.

Great product

If you have a hockey player in your family, this is a must. This helps with practicing at home or outside of structured practices and helps to reduce monotony in just stick handling. Very nice quality and product!

Excellent training aid

My son has been playing hockey for years and is starting to take the game more seriously. He’s adding various training methods to his routine, so we thought we’d give these a try. Four different ball sizes and weights to aid in various training routines. My son has gravitated towards the heavier 11oz strength ball as he says it makes him shoot harder. He also really likes the smaller agility ball to practice stick handling. Overall, very happy with this set.

Perfect for your hockey player

These training stickhandling hockey balls are great for the player that wants to train and get better at various skills. The one ball is hockey puck weight while another is 2x the weight of a hockey puck. The 3rd ball is harder to see which helps with feeling for the ball/puck instead of seeing it. Finally the 4th ball is smaller than what you normally would play with. Great for practicing!
