Great product. Better if "lefties" were given some love.

We purchased this glove for our cat. She likes. We finally got a product we could use. I originally owned one of these types of gloves many years ago. It would be years later that I would look for a similar product to a defunct product. My only issue with this product is that the company like many companies NEVER seems to consider that not everyone in the world is RIGHT HANDED. My mother and I are "right handed", so we can use the hair removal mitt easily. However, my niece who is LEFT HANDED, who would need to use the glove the most, (since the cat is hers) CANNOT because it is not made for her to use. So to the company that produces this product, would it be possible to produce a product that supports those who are left handed? Even a request system for only those types of orders. It's a good product and I feel everyone should get the chance to use it. LEFT or RIGHT.

Great for cats who hate normal brushes!

I have one kitty who loves normal brushes and another who hates them, and this glove style works so well for the latter one. He isn't exactly fond of brushing still, but I can at least get him to hold in one place long enough to get brushed without it feeling like pulling teeth. Once you've got a good mat going on the glove, cleaning it off isn't too difficult. I find that using it on my left or right hand is fairly simple even though it's clearly oriented to be used on the right, and although my hands are a bit small, they do still work as intended. Very happy with the glove and hoping to be able to use it for a long time to come!

Defective flea comb

The flea comb’s teeth are so close at some sections that the fur gets stuck and can’t be removed without pulling the fur out in sections from the comb. The brand has been great until now. Thus comb is so defective I threw it out. I will try to order it again. Another point is that I pay for premium service annually and I have noticed that item gets lost before delivery to my residence. It even takes longer than parcel post service. Another point is that heavy items are not shipped to Hawaii even though they charge more at point if purchase in addition to premium service. They no longer send items such as diatomaceous earth staying it is not available for shipment to Hawaii. This is the only place I could find to state my concerns with it being seen.

Does not really work for my curly fur babies

Its does not really help and could cause pulling my dogs hair on tangled area especially they have curly hair.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G - NO FIGHTING!!!

OMG, I am thrilled. I received my Mat Removing Rake Comb today and gave it a try. My dog, Phineas, is a micro sheepadoodle with curly poodly hair which mats easily. He HATES being brushed or combed. In fact, it usually ends up in a fight between the two of us, and I know I need to be more patient, but sometimes it's hard. Today, when I brushed him with this, it didn't annoy him and I was able to detangle mats. I cannot believe how great it was to have a brushing session without us both getting into a fight. Again, I need to be more patient but this was a miracle and is going to make a HUGE difference!!! I am so glad I purchased this and the price was so very reasonable. Previously I purchased one for 50 some bucks and it didn't even work so I eventually returned it. I will not be returning this one. If you have a sheepadoodle or a doodle with curly hair who HATES being brushed, I definitely recommend this product. I couldn't be happier and Phineas is thrilled as well ???? ???? ????

Excellent! This works better than any of the normal tools you'd reach for for de-matting pets.

This brush/comb is amazing!! I have 2 very fluffy Ragdoll cross cats and a new puppy (labradoodle) who all need daily brushing. My cats were developing matts on a daily basis. It was a nightmare trying to keep up with it. I was cutting mats out every single day because no brush or comb I had was capable of getting the matts out. An dI had a lot! The normal greyhound comb I found no use at all. Also the normal rakes and different kinds of matt cutters. Nothing is as good as this brush. It's a funny looking brush and I wouldn't have chosen it if not for the great reviews, but I'm delighted I did!! I think the key to it's success is in the very long teeth on this comb, and the size of the gaps between them. The teeth don't have bobbles on the end of them but thay are not harsh at all. My Matilda allows me to brush her with this brush about 5 times as long as with any other tool I've used. I'd def try this!!

Possibly the best de-mater for us

The first time I saw one of these was on a You-tube video where the owner (of the cat and the Magic Coat de-mater) was so enthusiastic about it, I assumed that it was a paid advert. As before I used this we were going to the vets at least once a month, for my long haired cat to have his mats cut out I now can understand her enthusiasm. Some de-maters have sharp edges to remove mats, then you have the problem if there are sharp enough to cut through the mat, in which case they will cut you or the cat (therefore needing emergency vet visit). Most aren’t sharp enough. This teases the mats, and prevents mats from forming in the first place. My long hair cat isn’t too happy about it, but he hated the other de-maters I have used, and is sensible enough to hide when he sees me with a pair of scissors. He hated going to the vets to have his mats cut out properly (the last time he scratched me so deeply I needed a tetanus shot). This is a compromise we both can cope with.

Works really well on knots.

Had tried a few different brushes on my long haired cat. Hands down this one has been the best for gently getting the knots out of his ridiculous coat. And he enjoys being brushed with it - given that he is a fighty little rescue with issues I can't tell you how much better that has made keeping him unknotted for him and me! Thank you so much for a cracking little brush that keeps him happy, healthy and looking like the true diva he is.

I brush my longhair cat everyday with a normal cat slicker, as he's a big lazy brute that gets knots in his fur easily, usually his hind legs and big ol tummy. Thought I'd buy this brush based on reviews, its lived up to expectations. That photo is hair taken after 1 quick brush. I'm hoping this means no more trips to the vets to shave his knots out now. 1 owner and 1 furry couch potato v happy.
