too narrow sock, too big pawbed
before purchasing, i read the reviews on how small they run. i have a frenchie. his front paws are about 2.25 in. i looked at which sock that would be, and it was 2XL. so what i learned when i received them is that the 2XL boots have a paw size comparable to the medium paws rubber balloon booties (only comparison is that medium fits a 3-month old standard goldendoodle puppy), but the sock is probably too narrow to fit a paw that size down it to get into the pawbed. my frenchie's paws fit down the sock, but it was probably an inch too big around the circumference in the pawbed, but i ordered according to the specified sizing. (my frenchie wears small rubber booties.) the velcro strap is attached by a snap. be careful if you try to pull it off: the snap is pretty tight and ripping the socks is easy to do. i think for a good fit, my frenchie might need XL for two front paws, and large for the two back paws, but im not willing to pay $40 to get that fit. good idea; poor execution.

Sock it to me (fur) baby!
My dog is 10 year old Golden Retriever weighing approximately 110 pounds. He has arthritis, thyroid, and other complications. Getting up from hardwood flooring is his biggest challenge. At this time he is wearing the socks and is getting up without my assistance. I think it is rebuilding his confidence to get up and move about. He licks at the socks but has not removed them. I have had to readjust the socks a few times because they twist and slide down a little. The socks have prevented him from doing very little work these last 3 days since my big fur baby has the grand ambition to do the backyard landscaping . I will probably get another pair soonFouFou Dog 82549 2017 Rubber Dipped Socks, 2X-Large, Black to be able to have a clean pair ready for him when the time comes.

Doesn't work for my dog.
They are great little socks, however when I had then on my dog, with the Velcro straps tight, they still ended up slipping down his legs and eventually coming off within 5-10 minutes.

Sizing us a joke!
What a shock, "2XL" doesn't fit a Lab and not a surprise because it has been so hard to find things that are actually designed to fit large dogs. The product itself was made well and ideally, is exactly what I was looking for... however, unless the manufacturer packaged these wrong, the "2XL" would ft perfectly on a Chihuahu.

Works great for my large dog.
I ordered a 2XL pair for my large senior dog with hip issues. Before he could not stand up without assistance. He always slipped on hard surfaces. Now with these socks, he can get up by himself on the hardwood on the 1st attempt. It's night and day. The socks fit great. The rubber is good quality. And the straps tighten to keep them secure. Since we've gotten the socks, he's only been able to remove 1 sock one time (and I think I didn't strap it properly). I was worried they'd fall off, but this hasn't been an issue at all. Great product that has really, really helped my senior dog.

Seriously, order larger than what you normally would!
I read many reviews before purchasing so I had already been made aware to order a larger size for my pup. My pup is 60lbs, she’s a lab/beagle mix and the 2XL fit her perfectly. Before reading other people’s reviews I probably would have purchased a Large for her, I’m so happy I did my research! She’s not a fan of them but they are serving their purpose well!

Complete waste of money!!!!!!
These were an absolute waste of money!!! I was hopeful that these would help provide my golden with better grip to get around our floors but not at all!!! They are shaped as if you were putting them on hooves not a dogs paws. And I did measure my dogs paws as their guidelines said. They are were a complete waste of money!!!!!!! Extremely disappointed would not purchase again!!!!!

Size is off
I think the sizes they put on the chart is the measurements of the boot itself, and not the size of the paw that fits inside them. I had gotten a 2XL for my rottweiler but it's far from fitting. The 2XL would fit a smaller pawed dog like a pitbull type.

Falls off easily
My dog has pretty big paws for his small size so it's always a toss up as to what fits him. At first it looked like they fit perfectly but the minute we went outside they slid down until he was walking on the sock part and not the rubber part. Kind of defeats the purpose. I think if there was another strap just above the paw that they would be perfect but as it is the strap is just too high to hold them up effectively.
