these socks are a miracle!

The media could not be loaded. these socks are a miracle! my dog took a bad fall down the stairs and has been afraid of the wood floors ever since. he treats rugs like little safety islands and runs like hell from one rug to another like his life depended on it. now he is moseying around the house and will even run and play like he used to before the big fall. i was afraid i got the wrong size (XL) since other lab owner reviews seemed to have ordered one size down (L), but these ended up working out perfectly. i'm knocking down 1 star since they don't stay up and require a maintenance tug up every now and then. i am going to have to order another pair so i can swap 'em out when they get dirty. love love love!

Easy to use

Had these for my dog for the past eight months. Easy to put on my dog and they've held up pretty good in the wash. I think they help my dog stand up on tile and wood floors. With that said, I offer a couple of observations- These will slip off /come loose as your dog moves around. The traction material is only on one side of the socks. I need to adjust these every couple hours, when I'm home, as they twist or come loose when my dog get up and move around a lot...which sort of defeats their purpose. It would be perfect to have the traction material all the way around the socks (hint hint). I'll take function over fashion any day! Great buy, but I'd love them even more if the traction material was present all around the sock.

Good socks

They fit well and keep him from chewing his feet. They do twist easy so the grippy doesn't always stay on bottom if paws and his nail poked through one but I'm still happy with them... work better than toddler socks. We have multiple pairs from this brand

nice but not for my baby senior rottie

this didn't work for my baby my 12 yr old rottie - he clear but them off chewed them up. Lol waste of my 10 hard earned dollars. But I'm sure they work if you start putting them on when they are puppies. Good luck

Cute socks, but only lasted for a few months

I bought these for my 75 pound greyhound late last year. They are really cute and he doesn't mind wearing them. However, they don't stay up very long - after about 30-45 seconds of walking around, they fall down. One other thing to note - after a couple of months of wear, there's a hole at the top of a couple where his nails poke through. Overall not bad for the price as long as you know they have a limited lifetime.

What we needed

Works for what we needed. Our 110 lb golden mix got a bad case of skin allergies that made him scratch and bite himself constantly. He was developing sores and we needed something to put on his paws to deter skin damage. We decided on these socks over bulky shoes. He has huge paws, so we got the largest size. They do fall down after a while, especially when he scratches, so you have to remember to check them and pull them up. He wasn't sure about them at first, but ultimately didn't care that they were on his feet.

Sock Monkey is so cute...doesn’t fit larger dogs.

I bought these for my Akita. She is about 120 lbs, big dog. Purchased the largest size. Sadly they are too small and slide right off. I’m keeping them for the cuteness, but won’t be able to actually use them. Maybe a friend will need them some day.

The best option I found so far

My dog is a basset hound; so large paws. These socks were large enough for her back paws only; which was my need. The socks aren't overly thick but they are woven tightly enough to prevent any punching with her claws. The length of the socks is slightly odd but I tape them with self-adhesive medical tape/bandage and it works perfectly to prevent her from scratching while staying on. The socks' non slip was effective a keeping her stable when she walked indoor.

Love these

These actually stay on my dogs feet!!! Finally I have found something that doesn’t fall off or fall down on my dog. These are the perfect size as well and have a rubber foot which are great for hardwood

Adorable, but not practical

Not super practical. The socks move around so I found that I needed to keep adjusting them over and over again. Better to get the full paw rubberized socks.

Great item

I returned them but they are quality!!! Just way too big. Good for a golden retriever though
