Looked lots of places

I was looking for this derailleur hanger at my local bike stores and online. eBay only had them coming in from China or Germany with delivery times months out. Bike stores online had them but they were incredibly absurdly priced. This was a great combination of quick shipping and a reasonable price. I actually waited almost 6 months to write this review because I wanted to make sure this thing wasn't junk. Good news, it has withstood hard riding with no issues.

price is high for a piece of metal.

I understand that this is a specific product that needs to be built in smaller volume, but $27 for this piece of metal? really!? it's a bit overpriced for a cheap replacement part.

I bought this dropout hanger after an accident in which my derailleur popped into my wheel after I bottomed out into a pot hole while racing down a hill at 37 MPH. The spokes caught the derailleur and ripped it clean off snapping the dropout hanger like a twig. I had to replace the derailleur and the hanger. You have to be very, very specific when selecting the correct dropout hanger. You can go to a bike shop to find out your type number or search for it using an image search. There are so many types out here so make sure you select the right one because one with dimensions that are slightly off won't fight in the slot on your frame. I bought this hanger for my Tonino Lamborghini Montagna Mountain Bicycle manufactured by Kent. I used to have a Tourney derailleur, but replaced it with an Alivio.

The Metal is weak. Be careful

It’s the only one I could find so I have no choice but to use these. They are made to be tweaked into a position that the chain runs quiet and true through the derailleur. It won’t stand much tweaking though before the metal fatigues and it breaks. Usually in the woods a long way from home.

Perfect fit. Well made
