I love Wheels hangers

A friend brought me their Trek bike to look over. The hanger was slightly out of alignment, so I tried to align it - and it broke. I went to a local Trek dealer and bought a replacement - and the exact same thing happened. So - I ordered a Wheels hanger. They difference was immediately obvious - it was easy to adjust and never felt like it was about to break. So - when I recently was working on a different bike with a hanger issue, I ordered a Wheels replacement - and it was just as good as the previous one. I love them... Don't waste your time on a cheap hanger. Life's too short.

Perfect fit for 2008 Specialized Crosstrail

My bike was shifting very poorly, and after spending too much time fiddling with it, I gave up and took it to the bike shop. The first thing they noticed was my chain was shot. After replacing the chain, it still wasn't shifting well, and that's when they noticed the hanger was bent. The bike shop had a special tool to try to adjust the bent hanger, and they got it closer to where it was meant to be. They also noticed the shifter cable had a kink in it, so they replaced that. At that point, the shifting was a lot better than when I brought it into the shop. I took my bike home, but I still wasn't completely happy with the shifting. I took a closer look at the hanger and noticed it was still a bit bent. I tried unbending it myself, but that was useless. That's when I went online and found this hanger on Amazon. From the photo, it looked like a good match. When I received it, it appeared to be a perfect match. Five minutes later I had it installed on the bike, and my shifting has been good as new ever since. This hanger was a perfect fit for my 2008 Specialized Crosstrail.

I purchased this to replace a bent hanger on a 2011 Specialized Allez Sport (compact). The fit was perfect and my shifting is now consistent up & down the cassette. If you are having trouble indexing your gears, or you can index them at the lower end of the cassette, but shifting is poor at the upper end, it is worth trying a new hanger.

Not for Focus Cayo 2010 - 2011 frame

I have a Focus Cayo Jelly Belly team frame and while this Dropout looks like a dead ringer as a replacement, it will not work. Wheels Manufacturing confirmed it will not work. The only option for these frames is the Pilo D445 which comes from Israel and is exquisite. The WM dropout was excellent quality and would've been about half the price of the Pilo but wasn't compatible. It's a great option and value for a different application though.

So far so good

Used this to replace a bent hanger on my 2008(ish) Specialized Allez E5. It got me through a 200-mile ride and another few hundred training miles. Seemed to match the OEM hanger perfectly. UPDATE 6/24/2016: Almost a year and several hundred miles later, this thing is holding strong. Would buy again. UPDATE 9/22/2018: Still good.
