Is a great saddle for a road bike
If you are a male in the 5'-10" to 6', with a waste of 32-34, this saddle fit great!

Aliante means bull, is for larg eguys like me
Was happy with my Trek stock seat for two years until I wasn't. Decided to buy a new seat. This fits amazing! I'm a huge rider at 240lbs and 6'2". I average about 100-150 miles a week at a fairly fast pace for my weight at around 18mph avg. I used to do long rides but now it's more like 25-35 miles. This seat would be great on another long ride, though. It's extremely comfortable. I loooove it.

Fits me!
Awesome saddle. My first one lasted 40,000 miles and has been retired to my trainer bike.

Great Saddle and not paying $250
According to Fizik's flexibility scale I'm a" chameleon". I can put the entire palm of my hand on the floor when touching my toes, so I tried the recommended Fizik saddle. the Antares VS and it killed me. I've purchased some other brands as well, and all had some level of discomfort. I saw a clip from Bike Fit Advisor on Youtube, and he said he had a lot of success fitting people with the Aliante. The Aliante is supposed to be for the "bull", which is someone who is not flexible at all. I love this saddle. As with all saddles you need to get out of it every once in a while, but there is no discomfort. I put 45 miles on it the first day and no numb bits and my sit bones weren't sore after the ride. I think the Fizik flexibility scale doesn't take into account how aggressive you ride. I'm an old guy so I'm not in the drops much, mostly on the hoods so I don't need an aggressive saddle. Can't promise it will work for you....but it works great for me. My only problem is I now have to buy two more for my other bikes.

Very Comfy
Happy to have found this on Amazon for a good price. Was using a Brooks B17 but it never really became comfortable enough for me as a lightweight rider after 7pm on the daily use and care. Wish it came in all black. Will update if any change in 1-2 years

Comfortable, Durable, Reasonably Light, Decent Price
I’ve been riding the Fizik Aliante Gamma for years, my current one has almost 20k miles on it. This saddle is the “original” Aliante, the newer versions (R1, R3, R5) have a slightly different shape and considerably less padding. I’ve tried the R1 and R3, they’re more expensive and lighter, but, to me, this saddle is more comfortable. Comfort beats weight every time. The only way to see if a saddle is right for you is to ride it. This saddle has a well deserved reputation for comfort and durability, so it’s certainly worth a try if you’re shopping for a new saddle. Mine is still in great shape, no cuts or tears on the cover, and the replaceable plastic scuff guards on the sides prevent abrasion when you lean your bike against a wall or post. I’ve actually bought a spare Aliante Gamma, just in case Fizik decides to discontinue this model. I do wish that Fizik made this saddle in an all black version. The black/white color scheme is pretty lame, and white on a bike saddle is just plain dumb, as it becomes dirty white pretty quickly.

My favorite saddle!
I've purchased and tried about five different saddles before finding one that is comfortable to me. Every saddle would start out feeling okay but after about a week of saddle time, I feel that I should find a more comfortable saddle. The previous saddle I used before this was the Fizik Arione which I used for about a month and an Arione VS which I used for about 4 months prior to that. I picked up this saddle due to Fizik's advertised "spine" concept. I wanted to try something on the other end of the spectrum of their Arione saddles. The Aliante is by far the most comfortable saddle I've ridden in. The contour shape seems to work very well for me and I since I started riding on this saddle, I don't believe I will ever need to switch or try another saddle for a long time. From long 4+ hour rides to short hard rides, this saddle is as comfortable as it will get for me. Sometimes I shift closer to the nose of the saddle with very little discomfort compared to some other saddles. Everyone has different butt so you just have to find a saddle that fits you. I'm happy I finally found mine.

Super comfy, smart looking, and we’ll built
I’ve had this saddle on my bike for two weeks. It’s a game changer. What amazes me is how similar in shape and feel my original saddle is to the Fizik saddle, but man… This Fizik saddle is comfortable. I have a black and white frame, so the saddle compliments it very nicely. Now to address my hands and feet with some new components. ???? I paid my shop fit the seat seat height and distance from bars.

Cruisin' for a bruisin'
Bruises my backside. Relentless beating of my poor sensitive areas. Only way to get relief is to stand up or lean on one sit bone. I'm 6.2ft inch and 105kg. On a positive note it had a good angle for putting the power down and pedalling but I was gritting my teeth while taking it from below. As a man who has never had this sort of experience before, I can say I tried it but after a good two week run decided its not for me. At least I know I was open minded.

Great quality saddle, very comfortable and durable.
I have put in about 400 km on this saddle and am finding it very comfortable. The first ride using the saddle was a little painful but I have had zero issues after that. I put this on a 80's vintage road bike and ride around 35 to 50 km at a time on the road and paved trails. I have not had my sit bones measured, I am a small framed woman and this saddle seems to be a good fit. The saddle is hard, I would not put this on my mountain bike, it's perfect for a road or hybrid bike, works well on bumps. The saddle seems to be of great quality, it has reinforced plastic sides securing the material down, not staples and glue. It looks amazing on my bike, although I would have preferred it to be solid black. I got it at a great sale price, still on the expensive side but I think worth it as I think it will last for a long time.
