Great Starter
It’s a really good starter fitness book. It’s really easy to record your personal goals and routines. Including keeping track of your diet. It has helped me reach my goals and hopefully help others too. The quality of the book is a 10/10 and it’s really nice that includes a pen too.

Great concept, poor execution
I want to love this journal. The content and breakdown within the pages is awesome. However, most of the pages are stuck together at the spiral edge. The only way to turn the page so the book will lay flat it to rip the pages apart, ripping them out of the spiral.

Not as Good as Full-Size Option
This is a LONG review but if you're considering this Lite version over the Full-Size...go with the Full-Size! What It is - The Fitbook Lite is a six-week 'program' that promises that you will lose 5 pounds if you follow the daily 'tweaks' which are: move 30 minutes, drink 8 glasses of water, eat a total of 5 servings of veggies/fruits, and stop eating by 9pm. What's Inside - There are links for free downloads, a starting/finishing measurements page, a 6-week checklist (get your gear together, buy portioning tools etc). Each week's beginning page has a 'weekly plan' page where you write in your workouts and planned meals. There is also a 'weekly prep checklist' page that includes items such as ''plan workouts' and 'plan meals.' There's a spot for writing in your reward for successfully completing the week. Then there are 'daily' pages where you record your meals, your 'tweaks', your water intake, sleep, and workouts. There are boxes for logging your steps, calories burned for the whole day, and distance covered. There is also a box where you write in your 'positive thought for the day'. What I Don't Like - The free link downloads do not work, so if you were counting on following their Workout Plan and Eating Plan then you will be disappointed. The Fitbook Lite doesn't come with a pen like the full-size version does. There isn't enough space to fully log my cardio details. I get why each day has a 'positive' portion to fill in, but I don't like that there isn't a 'I need to work on....' portion because let's be real: weight loss has its ups and downs. The Fitbook Lite doesn't allow for any customization, really. Things such as special diets, working not-normal hours or those who have different eating styles. I work overnights and I practice alternate-day intermittent fasting and I eat a diet fairly low in carbs. I wake up at 10pm and fast until my 'lunch time' at 3am. So just by eating lunch, at 3am, I am 'failing' to do the daily tweak of stop eating at 9pm. I also don't really eat fruit, so I 'fail' that tweak as well. And one more small thing I didn't like: the 8 glasses of water tweak. When you work out, you sweat - and you lose electrolytes. If you're drinking all this water, you're flushing out those electrolytes even faster, which isn't good. Drink when you're thirsty - that's plenty. Who This Is Good For - if you're brand new to eating a healthy diet and you're just starting out exercising then this would be a good tool for you on your journey. I can see how it'd be helpful to establish healthy habits, the five pounds lost would be motivating for you, and six weeks is a good amount of time for those healthy habits to stick.

Best tracker I've found--lost 22# last summer!
This is a wonderful tracker for those who don't want to use strictly digital info tracking products for weight loss. I used it to start off a diet for the summer and lost 22 pounds and many inches over the summer including the 6 weeks the journal covers. I can totally ignore & forget to enter info on my computer or even a plain paper printout or such--but when I paid for this product and left it on my kitchen island in plain sight--I felt somehow more obligated to keep at it daily. I tracked everything I ate, my exercise, water intake, and answered the motivational questions faithfully. It also has before and after weight and measurements. I'm not a weight loss program scammer, or anything like that--just an old lady who wants to pass on an actually helpful item! Really good for a starter rather than the regular FitBook which concentrates a lot more on detailed workouts, weight training, etc. This Lite version starts at the basics and offers tips, motivational info and gets you going in the right direction. The Lite also has space for exercise but not as complicated. I wrote down my bike riding, steps taken, and any heavy outside work that I felt was good exercise (such as push lawn mowing) in those spots. I used a step counter (see my other reviews--PINGKO, not expensive) and tried to get 5,000 steps a day. I almost always got those and some days more. This Lite version includes meal planning areas too and I used those to make food that was ready to grab & eat for a couple days without being tempted to grab snacks & fast food. HERE'S THE BEST PART: I'm 66 years old, did not starve myself but ate fresh and healthy food including some meat and treats--no special low carb, or other type diet. I have two knee replacements and can only ride my bike for exercise--no jogging, walking, elliptical--have to keep it to non-weight bearing exercise. I lost the 22 pounds without extreme measures of any sort. I wasn't morbidly obese which generally allows much larger weight losses at the beginning, just heavy, so this weight loss is doable for almost anyone. My cholesterol came down 28 points and my joints feel much better--plus looking better gives even an old lady a lift! If you're older--or any age and don't care for digital tracking--GIVE THIS JOURNAL A TRY!

Item was missing pages, Seller refused to support
Concept itself is good, but the item was missing pages when it arrived and the seller refused to provide support, telling me to go through Amazon for help. Not impressed with the level of service provided.

bad habits to eliminate
I cannot praise this book enough. It gives you the chance to lause and plan, on daily, weekly, monthly and three monthly scale. In other words it helps you identify fitness goals then break them down into manageable stages. And by ticking your boxes and filling in your info (only a few minutes a day) you are regularly reminded of those goals which helps you stick to them. You also see patterns which you can then tweak, bad habits to eliminate. (In my case, for example, I realised in my first week that I crave carbs like crazy after a run. Prepping for this helped and by the second week I was better. If you are serious and want something to help ypu maintain discipline you cannot do better than this.

Good for fitness/nutrient tracking
This is the third book I've purchased (one for myself and 2 for my husband). It is a very useful journal for those that like to write down their food intake for calorie tracking. This book also has fitness tracking as well so you can write own your daily/weekly workout routine so you can refer back to the amount of weights/sets/reps that you have done. My husband finds this to be very useful and even loves the pen that comes with it! Tip: You can use the elastic part of the book as a bookmark to save you from flipping pages. Fast delivery, very practical for those that like to keep track of your fitness journey.
