Good for the money
First of all its a great little portable grill but the only problem is ive used it 3 times and the second time i used it it started to show a little rust the third time the rust got bigger and the thin metal warped from the heat oh and the grates where u place the charcoal warped a lot and its so weak now that it breaks apart but other than that its great little grill cooks really well

fantastic customer support!!! quirky but still awesome
I really like this grill as its portable, packs very flat, has a decent cook top size, and i really dont have anything like it. my mini weber uses up way too much space in the car or the boat so this checks all the boxes. at $25 i shouldn't expect too much but its cool. the design is pretty neat. the top grill is a tri-fold grill connected at the two seams. it folds and kind of slips on top of the grill. there is no access to the charcoal when cooking but access is easy enough if you move food off one of the end sections, lift up that section of grill, add charcoal, and then flip it back down. you can do that move on both ends. keep the box as you will want that for transportation and storage. there is a seam that runs the entire length of the bottom of the grill below the charcoal. at first it appears that charcoal embers can only fall out of the two exposed ends but no....the hot embers will fall out across this seam too so be careful if you are using this on your deck as i was and embers start coming out from the middle of the firebox. so here is the quirky part. in the literature the manufacturer gives a 1 year warranty from defects if the grill is used as its supposed to be used. i was fine with that however i really doubt they honor their warranty as i've yet to hear back from them. i've called and emailed customer support. so far no reply. the issue i'm having is the bottom grill that supports the charcoal is the cheapest thinnest metal they could have found. after one use the heat and the weight of the charcoal has bent that grill downward almost to the point of collapse. it wont be catastrophic if that were to occur but the coal will then be sitting on the metal housing and not an air-vented grill. efficiency will go way down and in general it will be a pain to deal with. the solution for this is easy. they should just send me another grill or two to put into the bottom. if i could double or triple up the bottom grill there will probably be enough support to prevent the eventual malfunction of that grill. when customer support gets back with me i will improve my rating from 3 stars to 5. and yes, the metal is thin and cheap like everyone says it is but i dont see that as a negative. the grill works exactly like you'd expect it to work. i dont think leaving it in the rain would be a good idea. this isn't a weber grill that has an enameled finish atop thick metal. this is thin metal with cheap paint. EDIT: customer support came through and did it quickly!! very impressed. I received a replacement grill for the bottom within a few days of emailing them. it was weird though. I didn't receive the grill that comes with the unit that holds the charcoal. Instead i received the grill that sits on top that holds the food. huh?? What i really needed was the bottom charcoal grill....BUT....that bottom grill is much thinner than the top grill and perhaps they top grill would work out better? Its completely the wrong size but i appreciate their effort and perhaps it will still work out?? so i unclipped the tri fold grill sections and overlayed two of the sections atop the crappy charcoal holding grill. that should be sufficient to keep the coal in place....i hope. it adds weight to the unit but its not a big deal.

Very portable grill I use for camping
Good: Performance was great with heat distribution even, and folds up to the size of a laptop. Bad: The hot embers and ashes leak out the bottom while cooking! Luckily, the first time I used it on a cement picnic table otherwise it would have totally burned surface it’s on. I created a tin foil trough to catch the ashes and embers.

Sometimes, the engineers just nail it.
Simplicity is the hallmark of great design. This grill is just that. Here are the complicated set up steps. 1 Take grill out of box 2. Unfold grill 3. Drop grates in 4. Start grilling! We road trip often, and our other portable grills are bulky. This baby folds to 1,5" thick and 18" square. An amazing space saver in our rather crowded van. It has no bells or whistles - it needs none. I cut a small triangle of steel to allow for a hot and warm zone style when needed. As others have mentioned, you may need to line the bottom with HD foil if cooking where fire may be a risk.We just use foil each time for easy clean up and disposal. For home / stationary grilling, this grill may not be ideal. However, for travelling, tailgating, picnics, etc, this may be a great option. Doubly true if space is at a premium. If ours should rust out or otherwise fails after a year or two of regular use, big whoop. At ~$30, I'll just order a new one.

This little grill is great
I love that it folds up super thin and I can just slide it in my car. Once the coals are dumped out it cools off very quickly, I’d guess less than 5 minutes. This is perfect for tailgating.

Few Issues
Package arrived damaged, the box was torn and the item appeared to have taken some water and rusted a bit here and there. The rack that goes on top was kinked and didn't unfold properly till being tweaked with a pair of pliers, thought about returning it but it arrived just before our camping trip. There was a slip asking us to contact the company that sent it before doing other things but that got lost before this so eh. Over all the cost and the fact we are going to subject the item to fire and eventually have to scrub it clean we decided it wasn't worth sending back and will likely use it anyways. Though I'd have prefered to get an undamaged item as that's what I thought I was paying for it's still in working condition and the trouble of sending it back isn't worth it. As for some of the positives, it really is quite portable ours sits pretty cleanly and snug though the grill doesn't really feel like it fits as well as it should. The grill is also a bit more flimsy than expected so really large thick steaks would maybe be a bit much... Yeah so the grill is alright I guess for the price of 25 bucks or less but I wouldn't pay more.

This is the neatest grill I’ve ever seen. Even my family wanted to take it away

Great little tabletop grill
This thing folds up to almost nothing. My husband keeps it in his toolbox, and in storage in our RV. Sets on table, but heat from bottom hasn't been bad or damaged table. Sets up in a second. Best little option if you are traveling and want a simple little grill!

Great Portable Charcoal Grill
I am writing this review after using it two times. It is great but if you put too much charcoal on that, the food will be burnt. Totally, it is great if you are looking for something to save space in your car.

Not worth the money.
The grill isn’t very good and there’s no real way to control the heat. Cheaply made.
