Great insulators, a bit pricey!

These work great, are low profile but still thick enough to keep wire from grounding to post and appear to be built durable. We have about a 1/2 acre plot on our little farm that we use for spring & fall vegetables and need to keep the deer & other critters out (the deer & critters have their own plot next to the back of the farm but like this one better ????). I'm using high tensile wire on my fence, but it appears you could easily use poly wire (not the tape unless it's only about 1/4" wide). I won't mention the brand, but initially I was going to use those yellow insulators because that's all they carry at the somewhat local tsc & co-op then I saw these. I have 5 strings on the sides of the posts (roundbacks) & 1 on top & even with the pressure on them the corners don't ground out (you have to use 2 on each run for every corner). The only reason for 4 stars is the price. 0.35 ea for these is a bit steep when bought in bulk (I used ~700 - ~$250 - for my fence)

easy and easier

I bought these so I could make up my own deer fence posts and they are very very easy to screw into wood and in my case into metal poles using stainless screws..

Great Price!

We got these for a backyard electric fence. We have a privacy fence and these worked perfect. The price is GREAT. I priced the same one's at Lowes and these are so much cheaper. but they are sturdy and work great.

Great clips but one short in order

Received 99 of 100 clips packed loose in a box. Not bad enough to send back but not good enough for 5 stars even though they are great clips and will work with electric braid rope.
