Exactly what I needed to burning the copper for compression fitting

This roll of emory cloth is exactly what I needed to clean the copper pipes for my new compression fittings. It doesnt take as many feet as you get, it will last a long time!

I used this stuff a lot and on so many different metals, plastics and ceramics. It's the greatest some I have found that works good on anything.

This is good quality emory cloth

It turns out that I like the roll format vs cutting or tearing strips from sheets. It's not too coarse -- I used some for cleaning up an old hammer, and some chisels that had rusted, and also some screwdriver blades. My first 3" strip worked well and lasted longer than I thought it would.

A lot of linear length in this roll

Great price, and there is so much linear length here. I did a 2 day copper job and I only used like 6" of this stuff. This one roll will last a very long time. I like the fact you don't even need a knife to cut it. It rips just like duct tape with little effort. But, not such little effort that it will rip during the job. The grit seems to last a long time as well.
