Humor that's the key here.

Sarcastic or not they really aren't sarcastic as they are cute. Really this item took me forever to make like is humor. And since I am working on a project a simple one at that that I started a bit over a year ago to make. A yarn tote for neighbor. HA HA HA. Lucky it's an out and out creative project and gift on my own not an item anyone is paying me for. Then again maybe I'd have gotten it done had I been paid. Who knows it's one of those things that if it could go wrong it went wrong at every turn and corner and was just amazing. I ordered two yards of PINK cordura 500D but they shipped one yard and said they were out. One wouldn't work I need two. So ok I ordered canvas and rip stop nylon for liner and the order due to covid goes into a 16 week wait period. When it arrived the canvas is horrible more like off white not pink and the ripstop pink clashes with everything as it's more purple like than pink too. OK try my favorite fabric shop in WA and surely it'll come through. States it has medium weight pack cloth I order two yards and it arrives and is PLASTIC and so thin you can see through it. It also took 2 months to ship and I'm only one state away. OH DEAR. I presist and order more liner and two fabrics off Amazon thinking nothing could go wrong this time. I know I spoke too soon. Bottom line not one item actually looks good together. I will end up making the item out of Amazon's fabric which is more deep raspberry than lovely solid pink pink. Not so pastel it's off white and not hot pink closer to purple etc. But the liners not one goes with any of the pack cloths. So I have a fix for that I ordered white ripstop and will use it. Not my first choice but at this state of the game beggers can't be choosers. And I'm at my ropes end so to speak or at least the threads end here. And so I ran into these little gems of labels with cute sayings that in this case is soooo right on the mark. I will sew one into her tote and then gift her half of these as part of her goodies that I've collected to go with the Yarn Tote too. She makes all kinds of yarn projects and sells even so these will no doubt bring her fun and a little whimsy in her creations and gifts too. They really are a bit too expensive for what they are but still really cute. I make pesonalized labels and may incorporate something like these sayings in a few of my created labels on down the line some day. For now these are perfect and fill that need.

Fun labels

I looked for these labels after seeing it on a fellow knitter’s sweater. While I have these as traditional in the collar labels, the leather ones are fun to sew on the outside of your sweater so others can see it.

The size may be too big to add to a small piece like a hat. (Pictured compared to a dime.) Maybe better to add to a bigger piece such as a blanket. Quality seem ok and not sure how it will hold against time/wear/water.

My retired mum is a knitter. I listen to her comment about how long things take or how it’s an insult if people don’t use her creations. I bought this as a joke and she asked me to order more. I will totally purchase this again

Really good quality

I purchased this for some crochet projects I'm working on and the quality is really good and looks incredible on the project. I would buy these again in a heart beat. The text is pressed into the leather tabs and not painted on so you know you'll be able to read this for a long time to come.
