The LT-100H Plus - A Very Fine Combo Pack

I ordered this to replace a 10-year-old Brother P-Touch label maker whose main drive gears shattered when the unit fell off my desk. So far, I'm quite impressed with the Dymo LetraTag LT-100H Plus, which includes one solid white and one transparent label tape. It does not include the 4 required AA batteries, but I was able to very easily source them from my own battery storage. The labels I've made for my RC parts drawers seem to have held their adhesion days after I've printed them; your mileage may vary, as others have reported little to no adhesion at all, which may be a result of being given old label tapes. I didn't want to ruin the beautiful woodwork of my house by mounting the storage cradle, so I mounted it to the inside of my computer desk, though its strong neodymium magnets allows it to be attached to refrigerator/freezer doors, smooth steel whiteboards, or any hard metal surface that you can put a magnet on. I tried attaching the cradle to my own whiteboard, but it kept sliding down on, hence my decision to screw it onto my desk. Having previously used a label maker that utilized the QWERTY layout, the ABC keyboard took me some getting used to, but once I got used to using it, it's a piece of cake to use. The text can a little bit aliased on some of the larger fonts, but it's not a big deal, as it's still very legible. Very pleased with the LetraTag LT-100H Plus. I would definitely recommend the machine to others, though I would also recommend that they purchase a set of new label tapes along with it, just in case they received an older tape in the box with the machine.

As advertised BUT

Arrived on time. Wish I kept dynamite in the house because I could have used it to break into the package. Good Heavens!......I thought I was breaking into Fort Knox. After blistering my hands with a scissors opening the plastic I finally freed the poor thing. The easy start guide is good except after you print it says to push the cut button. ?? But doesn't tell you or show you what it looks like or where it is. I saw something sticking out of the side and since I saw no 'cut button' I pushed it and it cut! Was super easy to use. You can do caps or small lettering. Once cut, I like that it's not a problem peeling off the back because it's split so you can just bend it in half and peel it off. So far they stick well. I'll see how they hold up with use of the bottles I labeled. Some were for shower use. So far, I'm happy. Stuck on the side of the fridge to keep handy for hubby and his garage. Update: it has to go back. The label maker itself is good but the actual labels don't stick to anything. I washed first and then wiped with vinegar or alcohol and dried thoroughly. Even heated up a bit with a blow dryer first. No matter what I did, the label peeled off within hours. Is a shame because it's easy to use and handy but useless if they don't stick to anything. I've tried plastic bottle and glass as well.

Amazing as Expected!

You can not go wrong with a Dymo printer! I love this thing. I bought it in 2019 for labeling and organizing purposes. I still have it and use it when I can. I also still have so many refill packs that I initially bought, they legit never run out! It is small and handheld for on the go labeling. I like the fact that you can get clear, plastic, paper, etc. label types for your needs. I prefer the white background plastic ones, they stick well, durable (against water), and never wear out! Overall, nice printer!

Easy to use!

I use label makers for many things. the ribbon/ tape can be a little difficult to get the backing of compared to others I have used. This does not seem to allow wider label ribbon, but still a good buy.

Great machine, tape so not great

This label maker has been so handy to have. It’s really helped me get organized! I purchased a 2 tape pack, however I didn’t realize that this would be one white tape and one transparent tape. Not a huge deal, but I didn’t have enough white to do what I needed and now need to wait 2 weeks for more white tape to ship from Amazon. This machine has a clear screen with easy to figure out features such as capital, lowercase, symbols, and numbers. The slicing feature is great and easy to use leaving the labels with a clean cut. The words come out very clear on the labels. My biggest complaint about this product is that the tape itself isn’t very sticky. I labeled a ton of plastic bins and the tape kept rolling up and not sticking. I don’t know if this is meant more for paper than storage containers, but that was unfortunate for me and is why I chose to give this product 4 stars.

Easy to Use

Purchase this for a project. The features make this easy to use and prints clean labels. I gave it 4-Stars cause I believe it was a return which is fine but I paid a new price for it. The packaging was cut open and Amazon should have discounted the price. ????

Works well for what I need

I've used similar label makers in the past so this one is good for what I need. The only downside is the labels don't stick great on certain surfaces so I have to tape some of them on. I had a couple plastic items I needed a label on and the labels didn't stick well. The surfaces were clean. Otherwise the label maker is fine.

The Dymo tapes should be adhesive !

I like the product which I use for identifying my many files : I am a writer, and the labels are useful for keeping track of my many piles of research notes and office paperwork. One disappointment. The Dymo plastic tapes supplied are NOT ADHESIVE. At that price I feel they should be. This means that each time I print out a label, it needs to be gummed, and this involves finding Pritt or some other adhesive : a timewasting and messy operation. That apart, I am pleased with the product.

Good Range of Fonts and Symbols

A neat labelling machine. Good range of print size and allows for two line printing. You can save quite a few labels in the memory saving time if you need to print out again either the same or with slight changes. I definitely needed to read the instructions to understand everything the machine can do and experiment a bit to understand the capabilities. Good value and I am very pleased with the results.

Love, love, love it!

Had this a while now and I don't know how I ever lived without it! You can get different labels to put in it. Loads of different print choices. Use it all the time

Great little label machine

What is not to like about this Machine? Easy to use. I navigated my way round the menu with ease, prints clear to read labels My only complaint is that I wish it had a colour screen.
