Product is a perfect fit for the poorly designed ego scrapper bar
This is a perfect fit and pretty quick replacement process. However, this scraper bar will only last 10 clearings of a standard driveway before it again needs to again be replaced. This is a flaw in EGOs engineering. It’s quite frustrating to have a consumable like that requires multiple replacements per season if you live in a snow blessed area. It gets costly and other manufactures do not suffer from this defect. For example, Toro knows how to build snowblowers.

Most critical maintenance for your EGO electric snow blower!
I've heard a lot of complaints about the EGO Snowblower and I completely understand. The scraper bars are plastic and grind down after some hard use. The front of the blower actually rests on the scraper (see photo) and you can grind down a full inch of plastic after about 2-3 months of hard use (i.e. in Minnesota). But I am so enamored with the concept of an electric blower that I just buy a couple of these scraper bars at the beginning of the season and I'm good to go. At a cost of $18, it's not too bad considering there's no cost for gas. But make sure you buy at the BEGINNING of the season. The manufacturer tends to run out of stock around halfway through the season and the price can double or even triple if you wait to order a replacement until February or March. About half way through the winter, I change it out and then again during the spring so I'm ready to go next season. This seems to fix the dragging issue (hard to push because the outer frame is dragging) and leaves a nice clean surface to the driveway. You still need to watch out for an uneven sidewalk square (it can catch and if you're not careful, push the handle into your gut unexpectedly), but it never had any problem starting, doesn't require gas and is super quiet compared to the typical gas model. I don't feel guilty starting this up at 5:30am because I know I'm not going to wake the neighbors anymore. If you just reconcile yourself to buying a couple of these as part of your seasonal maintenance, you should be fine with the EGO blower. I'm also on my third season and no issues with battery life.

Does not fit my ego single stage
Well made, looks good. Came with no simple instructions. It does not fit well on my ego single stage. Could not figure out how to make it fit. Handle folds down, yet this does not cover all it should and a good wind will blow it off.

The media could not be loaded. The label confuses a lot. It actually says that the cover is not suitable for outdoor use, but the product is indeed for outdoor use. The product is waterproof and good quality made. Bring a pocket to store it too. It completely covers my equipment. I only see that defect on the label. Despite of that. Everything is ok.

Good for the price...
I think this is a good choice to protect a small snowblower; I'm not using it for an EGO branded machine, but for a Ryobi RY40890, which at 18" is a little smaller than the Ego models listed, and it fits it pretty good, with some extra space. Material is thick, but not too thick, with a zipper to make it easy to put over the machine and the make it more snug. it says not for outdoor use, but I have my snowblower in an open carport, and my machine still works fine. The cover also comes with a storage case to fold it up into.

Looks Promising
My Ego snow blower has only been used in 1 Alberta winter so I did not think it would need a new scraper bar. But while clearing a 5cm dump I noticed that the blower was no longer clearing to the cement and seemed to be dragging on the metal box so decided to get a new scraper bar. It was delivered a couple of days early and because the weather is mild right now I thought I would install it. What a surprise. When I compared the new to the old it was obvious just how much the scraper bar and worn down. The new bar came with all necessary hardware, installation was not too difficult and the fit is perfect. The instructions talk of a 4mm wrench in one place and an 8mm socket in another. I used an 8mm socket and found it best to not tighten the bolts until all had been installed. This gives you the option to jiggle the bar around to get a good fit of the bolts on the bar and the frame. It has not snowed for a while so I cannot test it but the newer looks as if it will be a lot better than the worn old one.

GENUINE EGO PRODUCT IN FACTORY PACKAGE
I bought 2 of these so I can have a spare. It arrived in EGO branded factory sealed package and fit well. It came with new bolts nuts and washers which was great as the old bolts were worn from dragging on the concrete. I added a pic showing the old and new blades. Tested after snow storm and works well.

protection of the snowblower
The cover is OK but doesn't fit snug over the snowblower and when we have high winds it blows away leaving the snowblower unprotected.
