Easy to use hand soreader
This hand spreader will hold about 2 pounds of product so it’s not overly heavy. The crank is easy to turn and it does a good job on the broadcasting.

Fantastic

Won't last forever...but the price was right
These aren't made like they used to be, but when they're new they do a good job. Eventually the they get gummed up and the cheap gear inside wears out...and they become harder and harder to crank the handle the handle. Good price vs big box store.

Better than expected
As long as you account for the effect of wind on the spread of the granules/seed you can quickly and easily walk the 'Garden Path'. The motion is smooth, the impellers are well designed and the trigger which controls the opening sliding hatch can be used to crumble light clumps of product that inevitably remain. Best of all, no chance of over applying the product if you read the instructions!

Exceeds expectations
Real comfortable grip, if you have a smaller (1/2 acre or less) property- strongly consider this vs. a regular spreader- it's really nice.

Better than my older one
This spreader is very use to use, very ergonomic and not to heavy. It allows for a customize output depending on the product being used, is very quick, seem to be of decent quality and the size is just right for me. Glad I made the purchase.

I must item
I use this for spot and general spreading all the time now instead of lugging out the large spreader. It works perfectly and better than the large spreader for very small items (I put down clover seed in the backyard)

Easy to use spreader
Great hand-powered spreader. Can accurately and uniformly dispense fertilizer (and anything else). Directing the fertilizer where needed was easy by aiming and hand turn speed. Comfortable grip and operation.

It works!
Having binned our useless wheeled spreader, given this a try and it does work well. The feed hole is adjustable to allow for different sizes of material and you use the trigger to draw back the hole cover at the base of the ‘hopper’. A small spinner above the hole rotates as you turn the handle to keep the material (seed/fertiliser etc) moving and a rotating disperser below the hole rotates to flick the material on to the ground. You still have to use judgement as to how much material is dispensed per square metre but it beats throwing by hand by a mile. The arm support is very clever, taking a lot of the weight on to your forearm. Very impressed overall.
