Heavy Duty Bag - Fair Price

This bag measures exactly as stated in the description 45 3/4” length and 11 3/4” wide. It also included an adjustable carrying and features two outside zippered pockets for storage. The canvas material, handles, D-rings, strap, and zipper all seem heavy duty enough, so the bag should last for years. The one thing I would suggest is that you measure your metal detector before you order. The bag is a littler smaller than I imagined, or my detectors are bigger. Anyway, most non-toy metal detectors will not fit in this bag fully assembled. Yes you can take apart almost any metal detector and it will fit in this bag. However, if you are bouncing from one detecting site to another it will soon become tedious having to assemble then disassemble your detector at every new dig site. I do like this bag however and think it's a great bargain for the price. I will use it to store my unassembled detectors at home. Note: This is a pretty decent bag for the price and could be put to use storing other items. As such, I wish the name brand wasn't emblazoned on the bag. However, the branding is rather small and could easily be covered using a black magic marker. Happy detecting!

It's excellent, as long as you are willing to shorten your detector's shank! Very worthwhile!

I can't (yet)testify as to the long term durability of this Winbest metal detector carrying case, because I've not yet been out in the field, with the bag in tow. It's very basic, with two pockets, the fabric isn't quilted and has no padding, but-----the bag is very functional--it fits my very very basic no frills Harbor Freight 9 function metal detector perfectly.......as long as i retract the pole aka shank section of the detector. I realize that the screw-on section of the detector's pole isn't the strong point of my detector, in studying HF detector vids on YouTube, that issue is acknowledged by other users/owners of the HF model....hence my search for a lengthier bag. I'm fairly tenacious, and very budget minded, and simply couldn't find a longer bag and def didn't want to invest in a bag that was nearly the price of my detector....so I went with the WIndbest, bit the proverbial bullet, and shortened my detector's pole.....albeit gingerly & gently. Upon doing that---the detector fit like a dream, I placed it into the bag, with no difficulty. If I could tweak the design of the bag, a tad.....it would be to elongate it....but otherwise, I'm very pleased with it. It does come with an adjustable shoulder strap, and its two pockets allow allow for my extra batteries, and if needed, I can also place small found items in the larger of the two. I am very glad I chose this basic detector bag---it serves my own purpose and need very well.

I did not give this case five stars only because it is not a padded case. The case is durable and inexpensive. I bought one for my Tesoro Tejon and was happy enough with it that I ordered another for my wife's Tesoro Vaquero and yet another I sent to my son for his detector. What I like about this bag is that it is made of tough material, it is a shorter bag, and it has external storage pockets for other items. The material seems durable and well made. It has two handles and a shoulder strap. I have had no problems with the zippers as another reviewer had mentioned. This is a shorter bag and I have to collapse my poles to put the detector in it. This is a good thing! The shorter bag is easier to pack along and easier to carry. You should collapse your detector poles and fold your coil up towards the detector body and measure the length to see if it will fit. The external storage areas are large enough for me to carry a small accessory coil and extra batteries. This detector bag is a bargain at the price!

I actually ordered two of these cases. One for my detector and one for my dad's. They are very roomy and strong nylon bag. It zips completely from one end to another and holds the detector securely. There are also two handy zippered pockets on the outside that can be used for carrying extra batteries, a dig tool and other items that will be used for detecting. It has two nylon handles to carry it with and also comes with a strap to attach to it so that you can carry the bag over a shoulder. This is very handy if you are also carrying other items.

Not a bad detector bag for the price....but it is somewhat small.

I have a Fisher Gold Bug II that barely fit into this bag and it was fully retracted with the coil still attached. It was a tight enough fit that I had to work with it a bit to get it in there. It will fit with no problems if you remove the coil. The material that it's made from seems to be of decent quality. For $11.00 including delivery I can't complain too much. Just remember, this is a small bag, measure your detector (fully retracted) before you buy.

Good for storage and protecting from dust

Very basic bag, it seems to be decent material and should last several years. There's no padding or real protection with this bag. Its main purpose is to keep your metal detector and accessories in one location. It will protect from dust. I would check the measurements of your specific metal detector before purchasing to make sure it will fit. Overall I like it for its intended use, storage and dust protection.

Nice Bag!

Nice quality bag. Better than expected and the perfect size for my Garret metal detector. Has a shoulder strap, handles and front pocket for misc. items and a sturdy zipper closure.

It is almost perfect

This case is awesome , it is durable , water proof , has room for storage .My metal detector is not for this case so it has to be taken apart before inserting it into the bag . (No big deal) So the case not being rigid when carried it collapses in the middle and both ends . I took four peces of white 1" PVC rigid pipe and four elbows and made a frame for the inside of the bag . Now it is perfect for all detectors *****.

Good quality. Delivered very quickly. Heavy material. Nice little pockets. My only wish is that it would be about 5-6 inches longer so I wouldn't need to disassemble my metal detector. Other than that it is perfect!
