I have only used this Modway Hotel Relax Shredded Memory Foam Pillow, once and already like the quality and comfortable sleep I got from this pillow, it held up to sleeping in different positions throughout my sleep, I sleep mostly on my sides but did manage to try to sleep on my stomach as I occasionally do, this pillow is amazing it kept my head and neck supported very comfortably and I have to admit I was skeptical at first with this pillows low price but to my amazement I had a very comfortable sleep no head aches and also I purchased one for my husband and he seems to like it as well, he says his sleep was comfortable and he slept well and best of all no neck aches like he had with a regular pillow, non memory foam type pillow that he was using for a week just recently These two pillows are worth every penny I paid for them, my former pillow was a memory foam and gel pillow but I did not get as good a sleep as I did with the Modway Relax memory foam pillow, and best yet I actually felt refreshed when I woke up. Would also like to add one more the extra fast shipping I got from the merchant I purchased the pillows from through Amazon

Not the same, earlier purchase of same pillow was a 5

I purchased this pillow because I have others of the same make that I like and I wanted one more. This one is extremely lumpy is not flushing out well and has a very different feel. It seems as though they’ve changed something in the manufacturing.

Love the Shredded Pieces Inside; Allows for Great Contour!

I had been looking for a pillow that would allow me to sleep at night and wake up in the morning without any neck or back pain. Other pillows tend to move around or lose their shape. This pillow has different shredded pieces inside of it, so it allows your head and neck to be contoured in a comfortable and restful way. Ever since I have been using this pillow, I have been waking up without any pain each morning. I do have to fluff it up after each use and prepare it each night, but I would definitely recommend it!

Well worth the money

I was waking up each morning with a headache, and I thought a new pillow would help since the one I was using was quite old. I saw the "My Pillow" commercials and considered it, but the cost was too much and the reviews were mixed. I found this pillow and was still not happy about spending $18 on a pillow when I could go to Wal-Mart and get something for less. Having used it for almost a month, I can say it was well worth the money. I haven't had a headache since I got the pillow. It sleeps "cool" and doesn't cause me to sweat. It is like sleeping on a cloud whether I'm on my side or on my back, but mostly I sleep on my side.

It is filled with lumpy pieces.

It is firm. I can see why it is considered a sleeping on your side pillow. It holds my head and neck up without sinking too far in. It is filled with lumpy pieces. That is kind of uncomfortable. That is why only 4 stars. It does compress a bit which I like. But not too much. The floating pieces seem like they will clump over time and distort the pillow. Only time will tell how long it lasts.

Don’t buy if you enjoy breathing normally

After about a week of using it (and LOVING how comfortable it was), I realized that for some reason everytime I would lay down to sleep I’d find myself struggling to get a deep breath. I thought it was stress until I thought it was kind of interesting how it all started the night I started using the pillow. All of a sudden, I (who never had asthma in his life) was having regular asthma attacks at night and eventually during the day, too. So, I removed the pillow from the room and found that I was able to breathe normally again— symptoms disappeared. I went on to read and found that the odor these pillows (including this one) give off are actually laden with VOC’s among other things—- a common side effect being asthmatic episodes. Determined to get to the bottom of it, after a week feeling back to normal, I re-introduced the pillow, and the symptoms returned almost immediately and remained until I again removed the pillow from the room. Pros: super comfortable Cons: you can’t breathe Even if you don’t experience what I have (chances are you won’t), you are still breathing in that stuff night after night. Also, turns out ‘certi-PUR’ that certifies it as healthy/safe is actually just a group of the manufacturers of these things that created a bogus group that holds these things to their standards (read: not high) and if they meet them they get that big blue check mark and green seal of ‘quality’. Pretty sure anything not overly radioactive would get their seal.

Eventually becomea comfortable.

This is a great pillow with some personal preference setbacks. I love pillows that compress down and comform to your neck and head, which are typically not as bulky. After a few nights of a stiff neck, and rearranging the foam a bit, the pillow has flattened out and is a joy to sleep on now. I would buy it again, just know it may take a few nights to feel comfortable.

Comfortable supportive pillow!

I love this pillow - it is so comfortable and supportive. I'm a side sleeper that turns frequently and this pillow is simply amazing. There are no lumps and it feels evenly supportive across the pillow. It puffed up fully in about an hour and I was impressed with the quality of the stitching and fabric. The pillow had a slight odor at first, but it's very faint and not noticeable through a pillow case. This is my first memory foam pillow, so all I can compare it to is a standard polyester filled pillow (down alternative). This pillow is so much better! I'll update my review after using it for several months
