Comfortable

I've tried many pillows, but this is the best fit for me

Expensive, but quality construction

Bought this for my husband who was suffering from neck pain, likely due to sitting at a computer. He made it through part of the night with this pillow but it's a big adjustment from a conventional pillow. He does use it to sit in bed or watch TV and occasionally for pain relief to get to sleep, but overall I would say it's very expensive and you might be better off spending the money on physical therapy or a massage than a pillow.

Love this pillow

Have had this pillow before and wore it out. Was a great price-so I needed a replacement. Love the fact it can be rolled up in its little carrying case and be used as a lumbar pillow or neck pillow. Very versatile

The firmness is just as it should be (for me as a side sleeper at least) only medium is rather thin on it.

Firm and high. Not for petite body types

I am a back sleeper, very still and never move all night. The pillow is small (side to side) but works for me. I have the SAME version of this pillow, but it is older. My older one feels more gooey/dough like and my neck almost instantly molds to the old pillow compressing it very little. The newer version does not react as quickly to compress the foam and the foam is stiffer and firmer, not gooey/dough like so my head does rest a bit higher on this new one. Old foam Vs new foam is a completely different foam. +++What I love about this pillow is the SHAPE of it. This is what provides relief for my neck. If you happen to look at any contour pillows, they all market them as having 2 sides you can use. A 3.5" and a 4.3" are the typical measurements for those contour bumps. BUT if you want to use the 3.5" side, the other higher side still keeps your head up too high pushing your chin into your neck. The center slope is not low enough either. I consider that a major design flaw that they used in a way to market it to more people, large or small. It does not work for smaller people. Temperpedic has designed these CORRECTLY so you pick your own size pillow!! Small, medium, or large. These are the sizes of the contour bump heights, NOT the size/width of the pillow! I LOVE the design of this pillow, it is perfect for me having only one smaller contour and the other end flat. My chin is NOT pushed into my neck. Just a bit too firm, but not skin numbing firm. Not sure if I will keep it or not just yet. For side sleeping, this pillow's shape works for me too. My shoulders are not broad and my mattress is extremely soft so my shoulders do sink more into my mattress so a high pillow is not required for me for side sleeping. Again though, the pillow is a bit too firm and does not mold to my head/neck nearly as much as my old original Tempurpedic pillow does. I may try to heat it with a hair dryer or put it in the dryer first to see if that does anything for it before using it next. I wished they offered this in different densities.

not for me

i got the medium profile and out of the box i could feel it was firm but hey i didn't take it out of the wrapper and tried it was soft on the surface but i couldn't get over how firm it feels it's the firmest pillow i haven't tried. not wonder it holds the memory foam. but it would be better if it was softer. so i'm still stuck with my old latex and wool pillow. was looking for more support. the back low profile side was ok the higher side profile was helpful. i think if i were to keep it i would end up using it just for the side higher profile since the back was too low for me. perhaps a high profile pillow with softer would be nice. its ok pillow just not for me.

value for money!

More than 2-year experience with this pillow, this is my second purchase. I bought it four times, for my family, this is extremely good and fit. I fixed my back-pain and have a good quality of sleep. This is my second of this pillow, my experience tells me that do not sit on your pillow, it will no longer support you soon. To maintain supportiveness, you can just use it when you are sleeping.

Chemical smell

I have had a tempurpedic travel pillow for years and absolutely love it. So I was delighted to be able to purchase a new one. When I opened up the package I noticed a very strong chemical smell. I thought it would dissipate in a few hours. But to my dismay it did not. I had to remove the cover and wash it, and I have had the pillow airing outside since receiving it. The smell is slowly going away but is still there. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of this offensive odour?

Best to get the small one

As mentioned in certain reviews the pillow is quite firm at first... Was kinda like sleeping on a log at first... But after a couple of weeks it softened up and I now find it to perfect! Important to mention that I ordered the size small... Many negative reviews I read were of size medium.... I would not want it to be any bigger than the one I have. Fills up the space under my neck perfectly.

Good pillow for side sleeping and back

Love this pillow. Perfect height to sleep on my back or side. Firm enough as well. I had trouble with a traditional pillow as it slips off during sleep and I would have to reposition myself constantly at night. With this pillow, the even firmness all around has allowed me to sleep well. a bit on the pricey side but worth it in the long run
