Worked In A Crossman M4

I ordered these pellets to shoot clays at 20 yards and was very pleased with how they performed out of my Crosman M4 (see separate review). The rifle shot these pellets more accurately than BBs so, I will probably order more in the future.

Really very good

The photo shows a different tin, with pointed pellets, but what I received was Crosman Premier Wadcutter pellets. I didn't really expect these to shoot as well as they did. They are not quite as good as the Premier Match pellets, or RWS Hobby (both of which are more expensive), but they are quite close, and if you are not shooting off a bench, and aren't an Olympic shooter, than you will probably never notice the difference. 10 yard benchrest groups are barely larger than the diameter of a single pellet from my tuned Daisy 853. For the price, these are pretty much impossible to beat. Forget Daisy pellets for anything other than melting down into fishing weights. The Daisy pellets are cheaper, but the accuracy is horrible.

Wish my money was as safe as these pellets in the tin.

when I read about some people having trouble opening this little bitty tin of pellets, I said how many girly men can there be (smile). Well, after receiving said tin and assessing it from all sides, I tried to twist off the top! Let’s just say 2 hernias later from twisting, throwing the damn thing against the wall and just short of taking a blow torch to it, I managed to mangle it almost beyond recognition but did finally pop the top off. I’m 75, I don’t have that much time left in my life to waste on such nonsense! Not sure how good the pellets are (will review later) but I’m going to finish the tin off with my 9MM. UPDATE: Pellets seem OK. Shot them compared to my wads and they seem less accurate.

Good pellets, bad packaging.

These are OK pellets, worth the price. But: I could not open the tin. I even eventually tried holding the can in a vise and trying to pry off the top with screwdriver, then water pump pliers. Nothing worked. I resorted to using a hammer and cold chisel on the lid and punching through it. Then stuck a screwdriver through the hole I had created and managed to pry lid off. I checked the lid and can for evidence of EPOXY! Nope. And by the way, I do not have girly hands. First Crosman product I have ever bought that I have ever had a complaint about. DD

Inexpensive, descent quality pellet

For the price, these wadcutters are, in my opinion, the best bang for the buck. Sure, they are not RWS quality.. and out of 250 in my tin, I got about 5 bad ones (2% defect rate) which is not bad for the price. Sure you can go cheaper and get chinese pellets like I did once, but you'll end up with about a 15% defect rate on those, with very poor consistency. The consistency of these crosman wadcutters is pretty good (again, not up to the RWS levels) and considering the price I am very satisfied. These pellets shoot well in most of my pistols with the exception of my Hatsan Mod 25 Supercharger Vortex, which shoots these at only 600 fps.

Great value.

Most accurate of all the pellets that I've used so far. Haven't found a single one that tumbled. Skirts were in good shape and uniform in length.
