Decent - but breaks near handle.

I've purchased two of these leather ropes. 9' length. Overall, they work well. Positives: I'm a novice boxer and I do 30 minute warm-up jump rope sessions before workouts, I can jump non-stop with this rope for the whole 30 minutes. I can jump on nearly all surfaces with little to no issues or affect of the leather durability. Works for double unders, crisscrossing without tangling, and all tricks I've tried. Negative factors: Takes a little bit to break in, if it's not hung on a wall (if you keep it in a gym bag) it tends to get pretty stiff and holds the shape it was stored in. One of my ropes, and two of the same rope I've used at gyms, have broken right near the handle. I'm not sure why this is, but that's three total ropes I've seen where the leather wears out and breaks near the handle.

Great for Tall people

I am 6'4'' and needed a jump rope for cardio. This one works extremely well and the leather is thick enough to last for a long time. Because it is leather, the more use you go through, the better it will be. It came very rigid but was still usable. Overtime it has loosened up and has been a lot easier to use. Several people have complimented it as a high-dollar jump rope. Very satisfied.

too short for me but otherwise not bad

this seemed like the leather jump ropes Everlast used to make around 2010. This is not a bad rope but it is not quiet long enough for me at 6 ft tall.

Nice Leather Jump Rope!

I could not find a leather jump rope inDick's Sport Center, but found it in Amazon's website. If it could add weight to the two handles, that could be even better. We did it ourselves. Great Products!

Eh, could be made with better quality.

About a week in, it will do the job. Classic/Vintage feel. Needs to be conditioned with leather conditioner and hung up after use, all ropes should be hung. It does feel very cheap, I wish it was made better from better quality materials. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more if it was of better construction.

Best jump rope ever

This jump rope is just like the one my dad had while growing up. I’ve been looking for a similar one until I saw this one. Leather jump ropes are just better than the modern plastic ones. I’ve been using it daily for two months straight and it’ll last a lifetime

Great seller

Love my jump rope. Love the shipper even more. I’m away from my current address at the moment. The local usps does not always deliver to the place where I’m staying. When the jump rope was returned the shipper reached out personally to figure out a way to get the jump rope to me. This was much appreciated especially during a pandemic! Def plan to shop with them again in the future!!

Good jump rope

Good rope at great price. I added some heavy duty tape to it. Wrap 2-3 times about 1.5 feet wide in the middle. It adds some weight to the rope and it is less likely to bounce of the floor and get tangled in your feet. No need to buy fancy expensive ropes.

Nice weight, good motion and no-scuff leather rope.

Ordered this after returning wire ropes from other sellers. This one fits the bill! I'm 5'2" and my partner is 6' - it's good for us both. The bearings are great and the handles comfortable because they're larger to grip than some alternatives. The leather rope is much better than wire - doesn't hurt when I mis-step and it hits me in the head, lol

Finally Found the Right Fit

After trying a good number of skipping ropes, I am genuinely happy to finally find the right fit. It is not too light yet not too heavy either, making it easier to adjust the intensity/speed whenever I need to.
