Decent timer that works fairly well but lacks functionality
The timer and touch screen work well enough but it has one fairly irritating flaw in its design. The timer really needs a built in reset button on the display that would reset the timer back to the set time after use. If you catch the timer right when it is done it resets but sometimes it runs past the mark and then does not reset and you have to clear the time out to zero and reset it manually back to the time you want. This is not a big deal for most uses but for some uses where you are using it repeatedly at small time intervals this is an extremely annoying oversight. Aside from this one design flaw the timer is fairly well built and functions properly, although it seems slightly over priced as it is a very basic device. All in all I do not regret my purchase but I am not sure I would purchase it again. If for some reason I needed to get another touchscreen timer at some point I would probably look for a different product due to these minor but extremely annoying design flaws as related to my intended use of the product.

Reviewing "Cook N Home Touch Screen Digital Kitchen Timer." I just love this timer... beautiful and nearly perfect ! - Very pleasing simple, modern and esthetic design. I want to show it off, while some others I want to hide them in the drawer. - Very attractive selling price - Displays the seconds. Some other timers only show minutes and I hate that. - I particularly like the "Count-up" function, so when I am away and miss the right time, I know how much I missed. However, I wished I could silence the alarm and still keep counting up, so when I want to extend the time just a little bit (e.g. when pasta are a little bit too much "al dente"), I can measure the extent without suffering the alarm sound. - Memorises last timer setting, so I can have several pre-set timers. I wished for more colors available other than white and red, to differentiate them all, actually not buying more because if that. - Not using button-type batteries which are a pain. Batteries are 2 x AAA, I wished they were AA which is the size I like to keep stock of and "standardize on" in the house. - Stands vertically or horizontally, very stable. - The alarm sound is plenty loud. I wish I could select some more pleasant sounds though, but I realize this would mean more than a simple buzzer and a much higher price, so I am Ok with that.

Nice but limit is 99 minutes
I like this item. The numbers are nice and big and it is easy to set. The alarm is loud so you definitely hear it. The only bummer is that it only goes up to 99 minutes. I am sure the description said it but I must have missed it. I bought it for breadmaking and proof times are often longer than 90 minutes. So I wind up having to set it multiple times. The good thing about this timer is that it shuts off when not in use so you save on batteries. I have another times that goes 24 hours but never shuts off. Overall, I like the the item and use it often. Just note it only goes up to 99 minutues.

Numbers turn dark
Numbers dont stay lit up while timing after 10 seconds. Hard to read. Would not purchase again because it didn't meet my needs and I'm still looking for a timer. I did like that it's magnetic and can stand up on a surface, but does no good if you can't read the countdown because the light times out.

Nice little timers and you can't beat the price
Nice little timers and you can't beat the price. My only complaint is you can not reset the timer easily. Instead you have to count up through all the numbers until you reach zero

Other than that it works fine.
I use these for shooting events and after aprox 30 seconds the display dims where it is hard to see outdoors and you have to touch the screen to get it brighten every 30 seconds. Other than that it works fine.

Great at first...
These timers are awesome! The only downfall I have is that after a month the screen started malfunctioning and pressing the wrong buttons. Great if you need one for the time being, but not for long term use.
