Convenient
5 gallons of water, then when empty it folded down and saved a lot of space.

Great for hand rinsing, emergency water, rinse off shower
This thing is pretty sturdy. The handle is built in like a milk carton so it's all one piece. I use this for cookouts when I just need a hand rinsing station next to me, and used it to rinse hands and feet at the beach. Overall a good product, it could use a vent at the top to get a better flow, but it does keep the water from draining super fast. Only drawback I would say is the spout placement sometimes it makes it a little awkward for the jug to sit flat and be able to run the spout because the jug is not super rigid, but it works none the less. I have gotten my money worth, and would buy again if I need to replace.

Great hurricane supply
Purchased this for Hurricane Ian prep and very glad I did. We had no power for over a week which gave us no water due to well. We filled this up the night before Ian came through. Life saver for our dog! She had water the entire time with this item. We plan to keep it in our Hurricane supplies and to also us for camping. Thank you for creating a great product!

Great product for the price
I live in Florida and got these during Hurricane Irma and used them again for Hurricane Ian. These are great to have for a Hurricane survival kit. When a storm comes the bottles of water on the store shelves are sold out and it feels good to not have to worry about buying water.

Garbage that failed at Burning Man
Count on these things having one use max. I bought two of them. I tested them at home before my trip, to be sure I wouldn't be screwed and to rinse out any plastic taste, and they were fine. After they dried, I folded them up again the way they came (I took a pic, so I'd know exactly how to do it). When I unfolded them at the event, one had a pinhole leak where a folding crease was, which duck tape didn't solve. The spout on that one also broke because I initially tightened it a bit more than it could go, apparently, in my attempt to make sure it was totally sealed, which actually made the spout snap past a certain point, and then the spout could no longer seal/leaked from then on. I switched the spouts, so I could at least make some use out of both of the containers, since one was now leaking out two ends. Ironically, though the spout was leaking from the seal point, the flow of water was really slow most of the time. It was really temperamental, with flow varying depending on how much up or down the handle part was inside the spout part--at best, it was an ok flow, and at worst it was a drip, but the entire container always needed to be tilted down for water to come out where it was supposed to. I lost track of the container with the pinhole leak right away, so I'm assuming someone else got frustrated and rotated it out of use, since most containers were lasting at least a day. I ended up leaving both of the containers behind with my camp leads--literally the only thing I left behind--because they were so worthless and I was so over it. Also, I was at a camp with communal water, so I got to test quite a few models of these five-gallon water containers, since people brought different ones. The best by far are the solid blue ones, if you can afford the space. As far as the foldable ones, I can tell you that the Colemans one had a super-slow flow and tasted like plastic. The one with the red handle on hinges seemed to do the best out of all those types. Good luck.

Spout was lopsided
It served its purpose but the spout was lopsided making it difficult for water to come out.

It served its purpose
Liked the spout. We used it for hand washing while out camping. We tied a knee high hose with a bar soap in it, the hose worked as a light scrubber for dirty hands!

Great water container worked great for camping for days would buy again
Went camping for 3 days, filled up multiple times. handle is comfortable to carry long distances. Never leaked a drop. Only thing is make sure spout is on tight or you will get slight leak. Once hand tightened properly no issues.

Not like shown in the picture
The picture shows the plastic being extended out from the main container itself, which would make the tap vertical and the water would then easily pour out if it straight down from the tap. However, the actual version inside the box is flat to the container which is on the bottom rounded portion so the nozzle points back towards the surface it's sitting on and you can't get your cup/pan/whatever underneath the tap to get the water to go into it. Total pain in the ass. Manufacturer should go back to the drawing board and reset the mold for manufacturing.

Not what I thought it would be
- Challenging to carry at full volume of water as it's wobbly and the handle is relatively small in relation to the size of the container - Spigot leaked first time use - As the water level goes down, the container collapses and doesn't sit upright - I would buy a solid container and not this, even though the thought of collapsing it for storage seemed like a good idea.

Design change failure
I had one of these from a couple years ago. Works perfectly. Bought another to pair with the old one. The new one leaked out of the box and, like all the other recent negative reviews, I found the spout useless. It points under the table rather than down as shown in the picture and like my old one.
